I wrote my latest E-Book: "Your Life and Happiness Are in Your Hands," to inspire others to make the most of life and not to allow themselves to be sucked into negativity and lose their self-worth, respect, and love for life.

I had a crazy life full of wonderful ups and some brutal downs. One of the downs almost got the better of me. But I fought back and pushed myself hard to find a way out of the dark and into the light.

It started with being honest to myself and accepting I had messed up. That was when I understood I had to change my ways, life, and everything I did to continue living and find success and happiness again.

That was 8 years ago. Since then, I have come a long way as a writer, nutritionist, and health coach. As a result, I'm healthier and happier than ever and have been for the past 8 years.

However, we all suffer setbacks occasionally, as I do too.

In this book, I explain how high I flew while ignoring the warnings and danger signs, which led to a massive crash and burnout that almost cost me my life.

A completely new beginning and approach to life were required.

Thankfully, I got lucky and found a way to jump-start life again, start from scratch, become a better person, and be healthy in body and mind again.

It took a lot of work. I explain in detail what happened to me, how low I fell, and how I eventually turned everything around.

This 56-page E-Book is packed with life lessons and several examples of my crazy life and actions.

I hope you enjoy the book and that it inspires you to live a healthier, more fulfilled, and happier life!

Your Life and Happiness Are in Your Hands

Excerpt & Foreword by Dr. Mehmet Yildiz:

It’s up to you to grab it, break out of your self-imposed prison cell and live again.

Rob’s journey is a testament to the power of perseverance, dedication, and the human spirit to overcome adversity and achieve greatness.

His fourth book is about self-improvement and has 13 chapters that I briefly describe.

The story of the book reflects the ups and downs of life beautifully. Here is a brief summary to give you a quick taste.

Chapter 1 — Rising Too Fast

In this chapter, Rob explains how his life took off at an early age. He became an unusually successful young ski racer. His rise, however, set him up for challenges ahead.

Chapter 2 — Flying Too High

This chapter describes how getting ahead of himself, which was out of his control at a young age, led to a false sense of indestructibility. He further lists some of his dangerous adventures.

Chapter 3 — The Hand Caught in The Cookie Jar

This chapter offers an important life lesson. Taking too much without understanding the consequences that may follow later on, if you are unaware, you are out of your depth.

Chapter 4 — Burning Money and Losing Control

His goal in this section is to outline how easy it is to lose control of your actions while not understanding the long-term damage you are causing yourself. Damage is hard to repair and takes a lot of effort and time to reconcile.

Chapter 5 — Crash and Burn

Rob gives deep insight into how far he pushed himself and that he had to first suffer great pain to grasp, he was making grave mistakes while setting himself up for failure.

He also notes the danger signs and addresses how to handle them, to not wholly ruin oneself.

Chapter 6 — Picking Up the Pieces

Once we have done the damage — mostly unaware — the chapter highlights that it’s essential to recognize where we are, stand up for ourselves, face reality, and take positive actions to clean up our mess.

Chapter 7 — Starting from Scratch & Finding Your Life Again

This part of the story elaborates on the importance of facing yourself — looking in the mirror, being honest, and accepting what happened to you and why.

Starting fresh from scratch, he says, is the only way to find a life again, with acceptance and a positive mindset.

Chapter 8–10 Action Steps to Rebuilding Mental & Physical Health and Developing a Positive Growth Mindset

Based on his experience, this chapter covers the action steps Rob found that worked best and how he implemented them to change his life from negative to positive.

Chapter 9 — Staying the Course and Not Getting Sucked into Negativity

Rob highlights one of the most vital aspects of maintaining mental and physical health — not allowing external negative influences to drag you back to an unhappy place.

He gives us interesting real-life business and personal relationship examples.

Chapter 10 — Setbacks Will Always Happen — Use Your Positive Growth Mindset to Fix Them

Rob talks openly that he, too, still suffers setbacks, and nobody is immune to that possibility.

However, he also makes an important point that we must always be aware and alert not to be sucked into negativity by focusing on a positive growth mindset instead of worrying, complaining, and ruminating.

Chapter 11 — Take Positive Actions for Body and Mind Daily

This chapter of the book reminds us how vital it is to take care of our body and mind, no matter how complex life challenges may be.

He explains how he stayed the course by maintaining an active lifestyle for both body and mind.

Chapter 12 — Help Others Do Better in Life & Share Your Knowledge

Rob has become a nutritionist, metabolic health coach, meditation teacher, and writer. His life passion is to heal others and help them live fulfilled lives.

In this chapter, he explains the importance of sharing the valuable knowledge he has gained and how everyone can do the same.

Chapter 13 — Time to Rise

Rob chose the title of this chapter for two critical reasons.

The first one is about where he lives.

He resides in Cambodia and has learned much about the culture and the people’s suffering under the Khmer Rouge regime.

He highlights how the Khmer people recovered their country and lives from disaster, to prosper again, led by their incredible positive mindsets.

The second one explains that we can all rise and win again, no matter how down and out we may feel.
