Valentine's Day
Deku’s POV BEEEEEP!! My eyes flutter open and glance at my clock that has the date on the bottom. 14 of February, Valentine’s Day. Yay. A day in which sweaty, hormonal and horny teenagers celebrate\express their love for their loved ones by giving them chocolates and cards. I would bet that the card or chocolates I get are from my friend, Ochako Uraraka, who by the way is dating Tenya Iida, my other friend. I hate this day because I don’t have anyone to share it with, and it’s even harder for me to find someone because I’m gay. No one knows though. Never mind that, I put on my school uniform and got my bag whilst eating a slice of toast. I wished my mother a Happy Valentine’s Day, kissed her on the cheek and left for school. My head hung low on my walk to school, that was until I walked into school. I had to keep up my happy, go lucky personality. Little did I know someone was walking behind me and saw me dreading this awful day.

Give love and attention to her shoulders
One thing that I've noticed about myself when I realize that I look at a beautiful woman is her shoulders. I never actively look for her to expose her shoulders because I don't notice them until they're out but if she wanted to get my attention, she'd have to do something for me to notice them.

Serving A Prison Sentence From The Outside
It started five years ago when I met the love of my entire life. A convicted felon, former drug dealer, former drug addict. The newspapers made him out to be some sort of monster, but no one saw the side of him that he showed me. Rewind ten years ago, this man was a senior at a well known Catholic school. He played football, participated in track, did well in school, and was accepted into a very hard college to get into. He is a person. I fought hard for him, and continue to fight hard for him on a daily basis. I fought for my family to see that despite his dark past, he is a person who simply made some bad choices that he shouldn't be punished for, for the rest of his life. He was good to my son, he was good to me, and my family accepted him once they saw that. He left me after six months because his ex-girlfriend came back. I knew it would happen, he loved her, he didn't love me, but at the end of the day, that man was the keeper of my entire heart. You simply don't give up on the people that you truly love.

Lightning
He was a skilled drug dealer who spoke many languages, always switching to another when the audience changed. I saw the first bag pass hands at the After Hours club. I inquired and he shoveled powder twice into my nose. An onlooker partook with us, in the long queue of the bathroom line.

Relationship Red Flags (Life Lessons - Part7)
Want to read the other parts? Find them on my Blog! Toxic Relationships I have spent my fair of time in toxic relationships. What about you? They wear you down a little bit at the time, sometimes without you ever even knowing. If you let them, they will take your heart and turn it into an icebox then shatter it into a million pieces.

Monogamy Is Unrealistic
I sat at the round table with two other women, one engaged and the other a newlywed. The engaged, let's call her Samantha, explains to Amanda (newlywed) and myself that she believes that 90% of men cheat. Amanda, having dealt with her own share of infidelity issues with her now husband, agreed with Samantha's notion. I began to share my personal beliefs on the matter, but before I share them with you, let me preface it with the fact that I am a mathematician, and I tend to think mathematically, using logic to make decisions, and most often than not, ignoring the emotional side of decision making.

Top 5 Relationship Absolutes
The Perfect Guide to a Healthy and Happy Relationship is written by No Author, from Anywhere in the world. Sadly. Wouldn’t that be nice to have a Table of Contents like that at your fingertips when needed? Not knowing the right thing to say, so you look it up! Or a whole chapter called "What Are Women Really Thinking?" Sadly these grand pages of wisdom don’t exist. Well, that’s not entirely true. There are plenty of books on relationships, the psychology and genetic makeup of the male and female brain, etc. But if you have ever read any of those books, as I have, you’ll quickly learn in your own relationship that everything is a hit or miss. Some things mentioned about women are true, some false. Same for men; some facts and behaviors are true, others false. Then how do you know what to follow? How do you navigate? How do you figure out how not to screw it up? Well, let’s not fool ourselves, you’re going to screw up a little - it’s inevitable.
