One day he'll understand how valuable you were but by then you'll be married to the man who already knew" R. H. Sin

A father handed his son a watch that his grandfather had given him just before he passed away. It dates back almost 200 years. Go to the city's jewelry store before I deliver it to you. See what they offer you after telling them that you want to sell it.

After visiting the jewelry shop, the son informed his father that "they offered $100 because it is so ancient."

Try the pawnshop, the father said.

The son went to the pawnshop and returned to tell his father that the item had only been valued at $20 because of a scratch.

The father requested his son to visit the museum and show them the watch.

The son subtly questioned his father's wisdom, but he went to the museum nonetheless, ready to carry out his dying desire. When he returned, he informed his father that the curator had offered $375,000 for this extremely rare piece to be added to their priceless antique collection.

"I wanted to show you that the right place will rightly value you," the father retorted. Don't get angry when you are treated poorly because you are in the wrong location. Never stay somewhere where no one values you or where you don't feel respected.

You will always accept considerably less than you deserve if you don't recognize your worth.

People who are unaware of their worth often accept less than they are truly worth in relationships.

That, you see, is the distinction between the MOST PEOPLE and the FEW. What distinguishes individuals who CAN'T STAND the life they are living from those who LOVE the life they have made for themselves?

YOU MUST KNOW WHAT YOU ARE WORTH!

Most people are open to having their opinion of themselves shaped by anyone. However, those that value their lives do not agree with narrow-minded individuals. They object to being placed in a BOX. They will not be defined by anyone but themselves.

Do not let them put a price on you! you decide your price! and don't start offering other individuals discounts just to blend in or win them over. People-pleasers never experience true happiness. Prioritize yourself.

You must work on yourself every day to increase your sense of self-worth. You create it by the way you conduct yourself EVERY SINGLE DAY. No justifications, no quick cuts, just a never-ending commitment to improving every day. If someone in your life makes any attempt to minimize your capabilities, then... It's time to cut off communication with those people.

The part of you that DEMANDS MORE FROM LIFE needs to be awakened. Because ONLY YOU KNOW YOUR ACTUAL POTENTIAL.

It's time to SHOCK THE WORLD and get awake! With a startling degree of resolve, astound those who had doubted you.

As you draw a line in the sand and resolve to become the person NO ONE imagined you could be, astound everyone who had doubted you by the acts you conduct today, because ONLY YOU KNOW YOUR ACTUAL POTENTIAL.

You only need to gain the respect of one person in this world, and that person is YOU.

The standard that you set for yourself is up to you.

EACH DAY. A BRICK AT A TIME. Start right away. You lay the groundwork by working on yourself every single day. You won't accept other people's viewpoints anymore. You won't accept someone else's assessment of your worth any longer. YOU DETERMINE YOUR VALUE NOW, via your self-effort, self-study, and self-determination of YOUR fate.

Know your value... and ALWAYS, ALWAYS accept nothing less.
