Bullet Train - A Movie Review. Top Story - August 2022.
From the way I look at this situation, maybe it’s good luck that we missed the train. Riding into theaters in 2022, Bullet Train centers around five assassins onboard a fast-moving bullet train. They soon learn that their missions have something in common.

Fatherhood
Kevin Hart is well known for his comedy roles. It was quite refreshing to see him step slightly out of character for his role in Fatherhood. I say slightly because it is not possible for Kevin not to add a bit of comedy to everything he does (a case in point is the diaper-throwing scene in this movie). He plays a recently bereaved husband navigating life with a newborn. He is all heart and soul in this beautiful movie about life, grief, pain, parenthood, family, love and friendship.

Lessons From Turkish Drama. Top Story - August 2022.
They say when you tell one lie, you tell a thousand more to make that one true. This is Ada's hilarious story in Baht Oyunu (Twist of Fate/Game of Destiny). She comes from a family history where it is erroneously believed that a woman who does not marry her first love will be unhappy for the rest of her life. When this does not work out, Ada believes herself doomed for life and puts plans in motion to win back her first love who has moved on. Of course, this throws up unintended consequences and is a harbinger of much confusion.

Movie Review: 'Get Out While You Can' is as Much Advice as it is a Title
Imagine being trapped on a boat in the middle of the ocean, no land in sight. Now imagine it’s you and the most insufferable, bickering married couple you can imagine. That’s the equivalent experience of watching the new movie Get Away if You Can. A romantic boat trip intended to save a marriage becomes a slog from one boring encounter to the next, and from one obnoxious argument to another.

Should you shorten your film?
If considering submitting your film to film festivals, then this is the most important piece of guidance I can give you, it’s the easiest thing to do, but the worst thing to face up to. That is to have some low-level focus groups. This sounds utterly ridiculous, but this could save you a lot of time and money in the long run.

007: Spectre is Underrated
Everything about Daniel Craig's 4th 007 film, Spectre, just screams "Classic Bond" in my opinion. The film has so many fun throwbacks to the Sean Connery originals, there are even a few Roger Moore era references too. Ultimately Spectre feels like a modern day remake of some of the greatest Bond films rolled into one thrilling adventure. It may have it's flaws (which I will go over), but in my opinion it's a very underrated Bond film. It certainly deserves a lot more recognition and love.

The 10 Worst Films of 2002 (according to the critics). Top Story - August 2022.
The world of 2002 was mostly dominated by the aftermath of the attacks on September 11 2001 and the resulting War on Terror, but the year also contained several future echoes of the world we currently live in. Queen Elizabeth II celebrated her Golden Jubilee, commemorating 50 years as the the Queen of the United Kingdom and the head of the Commonwealth. The Euro became the new standard currency for 19 different European countries including France, Germany, Spain, Ireland, Italy and Greece. On the other side of the world, while Japan and South Korea became the first Asian countries to host the FIFA World Cup, China was troubled by SARS, a virus which would eventually infect 8,000 people from 29 different countries, causing 774 deaths.

10 Worst Films of 2001 (according to the critics)
Back in 1968, sci-fi writer Arthur C. Clarke and film director Stanley Kubrick came together to create 2001: A Space Odyssey. Released the year before man landed on the Moon, the film and its concurrent novel presented an ambitious look into the future of space travel, the technology involved with it and the perils of the advancement of AI. Both the book and movie were huge critical successes, with the latter now regarded as one the greatest and most influential movies ever made.

'The Batman' Sequel Villain Fancast
The Batman, starring Robert Pattinson, was a smash hit when it was released in early 2022. Combining amazing acting performances with solid writing and directing, it quickly became one of the best received Batman films. Quickly after its release, The Batman was tipped for a sequel with some of the cast and the director teasing Pattinson's return as the Dark Knight in the future. Couple that with Barry Keoghan's Joker being teased teaming up with the Riddler in the final moment of the film, a sequel is more than likely in development right now.
