#JJK0THEMOVIE

Over the past 2 years we’ve all become familiar with classic characters from the jujutsu Kaisen series, like Satoru Gojo but this film covers what happened before this point.

The movie gives a deeper context to the relationships, ideologies & motivations in the curse community. (also Inumaki’s hair ).

inumaki~san

He looked like a mini-me of Gojo and that is enough of a reason to watch it. So without spoiling the plot for those of you who haven’t seen it lets get into it.

The film covers what happened in the curse community when they encountered the first ever special grade curse, so basically Itadori Yuji’s sempai .

Throughout we are given perspectives of the previous first year students, high esteemed members and the heretics of the curse society’s reaction to this individual with a special grade curse, especially after they see how unique and versatile the curse is.

Aside from the plot the best part of the of the whole of experience was the sound FX of the fights and animations on the big screen you could hear every hit and see every reflex which was very satisfying in the BIG fights.

Animators at Mappa Studios did an EXELLENT job with Gojo’s eyes, the only thing that could have made them better would be seeing them in real life I'll be honest with you.

Gojo's 6 eyes

The variety of curse techniques throughout the course of the movie really kept me engaged as well as the very detailed flashbacks.

I will be honest Rika looks scarier up close, I wasn’t ready for her at all. Part of what made the movie so good was the emotion she displayed even as a cursed spirit it matched her character perfectly

Shout out to Anairis Quinones & Kana Hanazawa !

Rika's voice actress in both the dubbed and subbed .

Yuta & Rika (cursed spirit)

The choreography in the fights were detailed, I’s were clearly dotted and T’s most surely crossed. Yuta’s hand to hand with Geto really lets us see the studios talent.

Buy a ticket and see for yourselves it’s an experience you’ll want twice .

want more in depth context for the upcoming JJK releases without reading the manga, then this is for you.

I won’t judge if you watch it online, but what better way to watch it than on the Silver Screen.

Without spoiling too much about the current ongoing chapters, what I can say is that Jujutsu no Kaisen 0, captures perfectly the trajectory of Yuta's growth and character development before the more darker arcs in the manga that are yet to be animated for example...

Itadori's Extermination Arc

Subsequent to the Shibuya incident there was a dynamic switch in the Jujutsu world leaving Yuta to play the antagonist, with task of executing a certain extra-special grade curse spirit.

Sendai Colony Arc

Yuta's role is far from that of a side character. Observe him shift the outcome if key moments in the film which foreshadows his pivotal effect further down the timeline of the manga.

Gege Akutami, a world class mangaka uses characters like Gojo, Yuta, Maki & Toji to add depth and contrast to the world of Jujutsu. The varying extremes of human emotion Akutami uses these characters to display in response to trauma is makes JJK stand out.

Thank you for making it this far. If you are JJK die hard fan or anime fans in general which you must be, make sure you...

Jujutsu Kaisen is a show I have seen everywhere but just has been sitting on my to-be-watched anime list. After reading this I think I am going to start it today! Excellent writing!
