London: Food from the High Street
Growing up, food in the UK was not one of our strong suits. The old foe from across the stream used to mock us for our poor range and diversity of edible nutrition, nicknaming us "Les Rosbif" after our supposed favourite and only dish of note, roast beef. In fact, even today, we are more known for fish and chips than anything else... But let's not get confused, London particularly is one the greatest places on earth for food. The diverse range from Japanese to Nigerian to US Soul Food is abundant. The Michelin Star guide ranks London the seventh best city for top ranked food marginally behind New York, Paris, and Japan (Japan has four cities within the top five!), and let's not forget that we have both Gordon Ramsey and Jamie Oliver to our name... and who hasn't heard of those guys?

Pizza is one of the most beautiful foods that has ever been created in the history of mankind. It is something that done poorly is generally speaking still edible however when done well it can make one feel as if they are dining on one of the finest things they have ever eaten. Pi Craft Pizza has found a way to put heaven in a box and serve it quickly.
Relaxed TouristPublished 7 years ago in FeastFood Review - Mad for Chicken
If there's one thing you should know about me, it's the fact that Korean fried chicken is a constant craving of mine. Don't get me wrong, I'm not discriminating against how fried chicken is prepared here in the West. Hell, regardless of the origin, I'm still going to eat it because you can't go wrong with fried chicken. But there's something different about Korean fried chicken that I just can't put a finger on.
My First Time At: Steak 'n Shake
Before I get too deep into this I would like to clarify: there are some places I have visited in my travels I will not review. The reasons for this will vary from "a review is not appropriate" to "I do not review large chains." This falls to the latter. The Steak 'n Shake restaurant is a fairly sizable chain with over 500 restaurants nation wide and is just getting larger. I recently had the opportunity of going to a Steak 'n Shake for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised.
Relaxed TouristPublished 7 years ago in FeastWhere to Eat Instead of Loveless Cafe
Loveless Cafe has been a staple of the Nashville community and what I like to call the world wide community of soul food lovers, or the WWCOFS for short. Many people know this genre of food as soul food, meat and three, southern, or even comfort food. As a native of Nashville, I have been coming to Loveless since before I was born. For a while all the hype was true, Loveless was the best place to go if you want real southern food. However, more than just management changed years ago, and it hasn't been able to restore the former quality that everyone from this town remembers. Now Loveless is busier than they ever have been and the food isn't even half as good. Now, this next piece of information isn't something to go spreading around to everyone you know visiting or living in Nashville. The reason this place is special is because there aren't herds of people being bussed in to wait 45 minutes in line for cheese grits slathered in a stack of Kraft American singles to the point you feel like you're drinking processed cheese whiz with a sprinkle of grits. You won't feel like you are inside a chain restaurant owned by Opryland. There isn't anyone trying to sell you merchandise while you are cooped up in the waiting area trying to decide whether or not you want to wait any longer for this food.
Restaurant Chains that Are Almost Extinct
As a restaurant critic, I've been told I have an unusual fascination with restaurant chains. I love learning their stories. I love watching old restaurant chain commercials. Heck, I even love looking at old chain restaurant menus—especially from restaurants that no longer exist.

Just GrubbinPublished 7 years ago in FeastFast Food Done Right
In today's world, it is no longer a valid excuse to say, “I did not know fast food is bad for me”. It is also no secret that fast food giants such as McDonalds, Burger King and Wendy’s to name a few, have been a big part of our lives for the past seventy plus years. These corporations have spent billions if not trillions over that time investing in our hearts, minds and stomachs. As kids we grew to either fear or absolutely love that red white and yellow clown we all knew as Ronald McDonald. The red pigtails of Wendy’s sticking up and her freckles popping out of her cheeks as she welcomed us with her smile. And oh how the kids loved The King.
Nefel IbataPublished 7 years ago in FeastThe First Sign of Summer
Recently, as the NYC weather finally starting getting better, my boyfriend and I began the season-long "what do you want to do today" argument, because warm weather means emerging out of the comfort of your Blanket Burrito and Netflix, and returning to the outside world. As always, I'm going to want to go out to eat. The issue with that though is the simple fact that neither of us is the richest person alive—or even richest in our neighborhood. The struggle to find good food on a budget is super real, and oftentimes leads to some sort of bickering.

**Chino is part of the Just Grubbin blogging team, he decided to give us his review of The Telford Inn in Mantua,NJ.** "Where everybody knows your name"...too cliche? Well, Telford Inn is like a home away from home. Great food, amazing drinks, and top notch service. At this point, I am pretty much a regular here. Bartenders and waitresses remember who I am and what I drink before I sit at the bar. Sooooo let me get to the point...best prime rib I've EVER had!!!
