My Quarantine Playlist
Okay... I play the same songs over and over. I work as a full time delivery grocery person. I love jamming to this playlist. I will talk to you about 6 of my favorite songs from the 5 different artists. I ordered these as the first 6 in my playlist. Enjoy!

I love listening, to music, to get me, through everything, in my life. My music taste ranges from rock, rap, club music, country, girl power, and, fun songs, that just seem to "hit my good side!" I admit that I have 10 or so songs, that are aimed, for the female listeners. Guy please don’t worry my fiancé loved 99%, of the playlist. My playlist is for anyone, wanting a little escape, from the quarantine blues.

I don’t attempt to kid myself - to put on some bubblegum pop and pretend that everything is fine right now; it isn’t. Of course, if that is your jam and if it makes you feel at ease, all the more power to you. But personally, I've found it to be a very specific type of music that has resonated with me these past few weeks.

Lately, there's been a ton of quarantine playlists; lots of people are jumping onto the bandwagon. Like many of those playlists, this playlist includes some of the most popular, obvious tracks. However, you'll find a few wild cards you've forgotten about or never heard of.

For the past few years I've been curating collaborations and calling it the WILT (or What I'm Listening To Series). Starting at the top of the year I group 2 months together (with the exception of Summer) and spend the next 60 days filling the playlist with everything from newly discovered tracks to old gems and earworms.

I have felt more connected to music lately, it seems as though there is a message in every song, something you need to hear.

I’m sure many of us feel like our days are blurring together. In fact, I’ll be the first to raise my hand. But that's why I wanted to seek small joys out of my days during self-isolation. As a music junkie, I figured what better way to surround myself with good vibes than to create a new playlist filled with uplifting songs? So...I scoured Spotify for music that'll make me feel like I'm trapped in an indie movie rather than in my bedroom. The playlist is lowkey *chef's kiss*:

The last time I made a playlist was the end of 2018 for a customer at your favorite local coffee shop. Though she didn’t appreciate it I hope you do. If binge watching Hulu’s High Fidelity has taught me anything it’s how to make the perfect playlist. As Rob says, “Making a playlist is a delicate art. It’s like writing a love letter, but better in a way. You get to say what you want to say without actually saying it. You get to use someones else’s poetry to express how you feel." So here’s my love letter to you.

I do virtually everything with music. I wake up and work out with music, I shower with music, I make my breakfast with music, I eat with music, and I drive to work with music. Did I cover everything? Oh I work with music too! Seriously, I interview local Toronto artists and have a social media page dedicated to introducing people to music that they may never hear on the radio. I guess what should follow is a phrase along the lines of “music is my life”, but it is not. Not only because my mother would call me the devil, but because in music I find the most human parts of me that wants to explore many different life facets and opportunities, especially in times of seclusion. Self analysis and introspection can help you grow and expand your imagination. Now is the time to meditate, pay attention to what is inside of you, start something you have always wanted to try, master your crafts, rediscover your self, extrapolate your creative side, be free and be you and love life. So what have I been doing during isolation? That's right, you guessed it, listening to music! Let's take a look at what I've been listening to to extract the best of me in quarantine.
The Seven Stages of Grief Quarantine Playlist
The Coronavirus pandemic has rocked our lives and shaken the foundations of our mental stability. For the last few weeks, we’ve all been riding a roller coaster of emotion and it doesn’t look like the end is anywhere in sight. Hey, breakups suck. They really do. Maybe you’re going through one right now, and if you are, then SAME. My breakup playlist changes a lot but I usually have my select go-to songs. Here are some of my go to breakup songs and empowerment songs that I think you should add to your playlist:

It makes my butt laugh just to hear myself expressing the subtitle with holy joy. Yes! I’m sure am… laughing out loud. This is how amazing it is to me when it comes up to music. It causes the appearance of my laughter like brighten fireworks in the night sky crashing through the invisible soundly feeling of the rhythm melody beyond its flow to the beat.
