Life With Kiya
How this spunky little Dachshund came to me might not seem like a heartwarming story, or might even be considered boring, but it's a sweet story nonetheless. At least, that's what I think. Princess Kiya (pronounced like the car) was born on November 19, 2016, in Cheyenne, Wyoming to a litter of four. She is the second smallest of her litter. Both of her parents are pure-breed dachshunds, though only her father has papers. My boyfriend and I adopted her on January 21, 2017. It was a Saturday night, and she'd just turned nine weeks old that very day; I remember that much.

Day One: Using it for the first time it felt really weird. But, after about an hour or two it started to feel really comfortable and I could not feel anything just sitting down there. My main concerns is:
Growing Up Without a Father
I grew up in a fatherless home. My dad had his "new family" as I called them. He pushed me to the back burner and forgot about me. A tremendous impact that I never want to feel again. Growing up without that dad role has given me so many challenges with guys that I've dealt with over the years.

This morning whilst casually scrolling on the internet, I came across a video that left me frankly quite alarmed and astonished. In fact, I was so shocked by what I was seeing presented to me that I literally stopped, covered my mouth and gasped for air. You know that thing you do when you're really quite surprised. (Before I continue, I must admit that I am most definitely a dramatic individual, so forgive me for my over-the-top explanation.)

Like a double-edged sword, the parenting standard for men and women, especially in the minority communities, across the country has been proven bias. The concept of a deadbeat dad in our society is one that labels a father who is not in the child’s life as a second-rate citizen. But what are the circumstances behind this estranged relationship? Is it deliberate? Is it intentional?

All sports have different things that make them difficult. That being said, most sports don't have "equipment" with a brain of their own... Horses are amazing animals but like us, they all have their quirks.
Me Too
You see "Me too" on your Facebook and you think, "Stop making yourself a victim." You think, "Stop living in the past." You think, "You're exaggerating the problem, exaggerating the pain." And if you don't understand, you may think those are fair things to say. Honestly, that means you are lucky because that means that you've never felt the need to cover every inch of your body for fear of what will be said about skin showing. You've never walked down the street in fear you'll run into that one person you know always makes you feel uncomfortable because while you've stated you’re not interested they continue to make sexual advances. If you're against the "Me too" trend, as some are calling it, you've never sat in a room so self-conscious of your body you have no idea what anyone else is saying.
