Top 10 Things to Know BEFORE Obtaining a Service Animal
Here's what I wish I knew before I began the process. 1). Be prepared for the unexpected. The milestones of learning basic commands and obedience training to commands and tasks, are heart warming and sometimes frustrating. If you do not have a lot of patience or time, a program service dog where the training is already done and you just need to match up to the right dog and pay up, may be in yours, and your new K-9 pal's, best interest.
Katie MoorePublished 7 years ago in PetlifeOpen Letter to My Brother
To my brother... There was a time we used to be close. A time when I meant something to you. Okay, so I was a senior in high school with a job who also avoided being home at all costs, but I did show up at some point during a majority of the nights I lived there. If it was before your "bedtime," we could play music and act like fools for whatever reason our sleep deprived selves could come up with. If I came home closer to midnight, I would chill in your dark room and we would talk about random shit for awhile, nearly silently to protect you from your mom and step dad, or my dad and step mom, I don't even know.
Motherhood
Motherhood is something that I've always wanted to do and it's great!! I had my little one at 18 and don't regret it at all but then again who would.
Catharine SPublished 7 years ago in FamiliesHow To Curb Your Cat's Nocturnal Activity
As any cat owner knows by now, cats are essentially nocturnal creatures. As cute as your pet is and as much as you love them, you no longer need to sacrifice your precious sleep time to keep them entertained. With these tips, you can curb that activity and even start training your cat to sleep when you do.

At nineteen I began dating "him." You know. The charismatic, fun-loving, happy-go-lucky guy that makes friends with every person he meets? The one that's obnoxiously friendly yet somehow wins you over? He was that guy... until he wasn't.
Erin ColónPublished 7 years ago in VivaRape Apologists List that Needs to Be More Heard
This is a rape apologists list that needs to be more heard. "Well what was she wearing?" A women's clothing should NOT give you the urge to force yourself onto her. It's her body and her clothing should not be a distraction to you. Men are topless quite a lot but you don't see a woman forcing herself onto him and saying "He was topless what did you expect?" So what's the difference if a girl wore a crop top or a low shirt?

Yes, I smoke, I drink, I drink Diet Coke (oh no, aspartame!), I even eat red bloody meat and worst of all, I eat fried food like it’s going out of style. I know these things are obviously bad for me but I mean, if I die tomorrow or even in the next two hours (dying tomorrow is too cliché), I want to know I’m going six feet under with a belly full of terrible shit I loved and lungs as black as tar.

Warning: another cat story. So I'm just gonna go out on a limb here and assume you read my story about my cat, Bailey. To sum it up: basically one of my four cats was peeing on the table, so I used the process of elimination to determine that it was, in fact, Bailey peeing on my kitchen table. Or, so I thought.
