Trump’s Second Term
As we all know by now Donald J Trump is the President. He ran a very controversial campaign and a lot of people including high-level politicians from both political parties said he would never win, which he quickly proved to be wrong. We all knew Trump for being a businessman who had some past failures, but who hasn’t made mistakes in their past? He even went into detail on how bad his failures were in his book, The Art of The Deal, on his former tv show The Apprentice and in several interviews. Whenever people bring up Trump's failures you have to keep in mind that six “bankruptcies” out of 515 investments and businesses isn’t a failure of a businessman. That’s like saying a basketball player who shot 515 baskets and missed six isn’t a star player. Whether you love him or hate him you are reaping the benefits from this great economy and it’s easier than ever to find a good high paying job with benefits.
Words to Donald Trump
Dear Donald Trump, How does it feel knowing that you are contributing to women not feeling certain about themselves? With your history, you've encouraged men who only see women as objects to push their ideals onto women, and themselves in women, without feeling it is necessary to get a genuine "yes" out of them first. What will be the point of women having brains of their own if your mindsets will keep them from being taken seriously, as they venture off into career paths of their choice? From the sound of it, you crave for the days where women can't get writing published unless they had male pen names, as well as believe that their potential isn't enough for them, but more than enough for a man. Do you think things will be better for everyone working if in an act of malicious compliance, all women stopped their jobs, and left the extra hassle for the men to deal with?
Monique StarPublished 5 years ago in The SwampWhy Donald Trump Hates Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk
Really? Do you take us all for fools? Like we can't see that you and your pals are just so heavily invested in oil up to your eyelids that the last thing you want is for electric cars to make it here in the "United States?" United is the furthest thing from your mind. You wanted that title for one reason, and one reason only. MONEY. Did you not get enough hugs as a child? Was it that your family came from poverty and you decided once and for all that you were absolutely never going to live that way ever again? OR was it that POWER and CONTROL that you felt when you started succeeding after someone in your family, most likely your father, called you a failure for not being worth a f*ck?
Missy ConleyPublished 5 years ago in The SwampWhat are the Pros and Cons to Trump's Economic Plan?
The United States is experiencing a period of strong economic growth. In a recent speech, President Trump took credit for the strong economy. However, critics of President Trump believe that his policies have hurt the economy.
Craig MiddletonPublished 5 years ago in The SwampTrump, Saudis, and Nukes, Oh My!
Is the nuclear power deal with Saudi Arabia finally too much for Republicans? Republicans love Donald Trump. They had no choice after he declared his candidacy. He won the Republican nomination with his campaign announcement, because once he stated out loud the racist bargain Republicans had been running on implicitly since Nixon, the Party leadership could not afford to disown him, without alienating their base.
William TurnerPublished 5 years ago in The SwampWhat It Means to Be a Trump Supporter...
As children, we grow up learning through our parents. We learn by seeing, experiencing and what we are taught. Depending on where you are from and what era your parents were from depends on your upbringing. I grew up in a middle-class household. My parents were taught to be responsible, active members of the community. My dad went to college, got his master's and taught middle school and high school band my entire life. My mom was an artist, art teacher and stay at home mom.
Why Trump Bombed in Hanoi
When major summit meetings end as fast as the one just wrapped in Hanoi, it’s for one of two reasons: Either the summiteers realized they had no differences of opinion to slow things down, or they found out early that their differences of opinion would short-circuit anything else from happening.

This past Friday, President Donald Trump declared a national state of emergency surrounding the homeland security bill he wasn't quite happy with.
betrus noslienPublished 5 years ago in The Swamp#NationalEmergency: Are We Surprised Trump's Gone This Far?
When I saw on Twitter that #NationalEmergency was trending, I had a sneaking hunch I knew why. Really, it's sad that the ongoing saga of funding for a wall along the United States' southern border has even come to this, but what surprises me is that no one seems to have seen this coming from the moment now-President Trump started talking about it on the campaign trail. To be fair, back then there were quite a lot of us who honestly didn't think he'd even be elected to the highest seat of power in the United States, but that's another story.
Christina St-JeanPublished 5 years ago in The SwampWe've Been Trumped
The political aspect of the US took a turn after the 2016 presidential election when Donald Trump was announced the winner, and we are still talking about it. Whether that turn has, is, and will be good or bad continues to be debated. Instead of the views being split between the usual Republican and Democratic parties, it seems to have shifted into Trump supporters and anti-Trump supporters. The majority of Trump's supporters are Republican, but not necessarily all of them, as not all liberals have chosen to be anti-supporters. So what is it about President Trump that Americans do or don't approve of?
Ashley Beatty-PernettiPublished 5 years ago in The SwampA Letter to the Hero of Our Nation
Dear President Trump, Over the past couple of years, I've stood by and supported you through all your ideas and claims. Everything you've proposed I've supported first hand. I've defended you, taken an emotional beating for you, and been called every name under the sun all in your defense. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
Dear Donald
Dear Donald J. Trump, I just wanted to take a minute to write you a sincere letter of congratulations for all the things that have happened in our country since you took your place as President.
