Ever Heart Chronicles EP.8
The journey out of the marsh was so different from when they entered. What was once dead and dire was now flourishing and blooming. Those feelings of hopelessness and suffering were now gone, disappeared had the despair and fog from the marsh. Once they were out of the now-rushing little creeks and rivers and onto flat land they were able to continue riding the horses, which would make traveling much faster. Even though Rowen had suffered what had been a serious injury, once the blight was cured the wound itself was quite shallow and even Meris was taken by surprise.
Our story begins on an eerie night at the main office building of Elderhouser and Sons. It was a reputable business, no greedy side jobs or illicit business. Just good clean business for everyone who worked there. The office was friendly, and everyone who worked there had been a part of the business family for a while. They made boxes and packing tape, not the most glamorous job; but you always need those items so business was steady.
Ever Heart Chronicles EP.7
The trek down the murky mountain wasn’t as bad as Luce had originally thought it would be. It was after all the original realm of depression; surely the rest of the mountain was similar in sadness and morose. She was pleasingly surprised to find the farther away she got from her grumpy uncle the sunnier things seemed to get. That irked her and also made her slightly happy.
Ever Heart Chronicles EP. 6
Trudging through the thick muck of the marsh was less than ideal. The brown water rushed into Meris’s boots every time he took a step into the ick. The green algae that settled on the top had a strange consistency that stuck to his clothes every chance it got.
Ever Heart Chronicles EP.5
Days of riding put Rowen and her group deep in the valley. They passed through forests and past waterfalls, through sceneries only in the imagination. It wasn’t until they came to the marshes that they realized nightmares were real too. As they rode they saw the beginnings of the marshes in the distance. They had been going downhill from the time they passed the valley. Here in the lowlands were the marshes; here there was trouble.
A Napping Fool
A Nap A Day Ahhh... sweet parental bliss; yeah the calm days don't actually start until around month 4, after that you have just a couple of silent hours to yourself. However, as a new mom, I didn't exactly set up nap time easily. How could I have messed up setting naptime schedules?? In the sense that I didn't do any at all.... #frowny face.
Ever Heart Chronicles EP.4
The dark mist that surrounded the house of Ixxon was cold and damp. It was lifeless, hopeless, and devoid of all emotion. Inside the broken-down house sat Ixxon in his chair, smoking his pipe, which reeked of musty tobacco. His stained fingers flipped between pages of an old spellbook. It was thick and hard for him to hold with one hand, he kept leaning it against his knee as he tried to balance both his pipe and his book.
Ever Heart Chronicles EP. 3
The sunlight shone down on the prairies, and the wind whipped the grass in a great dance that rippled across the valley. Rowen and Meris ride down the long road that leads to Heah, a border town outside of the capital.
Ever Heart Chronicles EP.2
The black mist hung over the sharp, ragged mountain edge. The cold caused dew to form on the few flowers that grew in between the unforgiving rocks. Here, where sunlight was seldom seen and emptiness a common sight, lived Luce, a young dark magus. Luce, a young teen with raven black hair, stared eerily at a small bright yellow flower.
5 Things I hate about my Travel System
Travel, at some point in your little one's life you're going to have to leave your house. Maybe it's for a doctor's appointment or to go see your parents. Heck, perhaps it's a lovely picnic in a secluded park with lovely sandwiches. They don't have to be sandwiches... not everyone loves those. At some point travel will call you outside your door and how you get there depends entirely on your travel system. AKA the Stroller/Carseat combo.
Ever Heart Chronicles- Episode 1
Darkness looms over the snowy peaks, thunder booms as a storm rolls into the lower valleys. It is weather ill matched, and something not natural. High in the mountains two Mages stand opposing one another. The first clad in silver armor his staff a beautiful wood woven over a blue stone. The second is shrouded in black cloaks and dark metal armor; his staff is black and straight as a post. Past the fog bank into the lower levels of the valleys, marches an army of ten thousand strong. All of them are heading towards the castle, which lay three valleys over in the sunny hills of Abyrion. Their steps wreak havoc on the land as grass slowly turns to mud. The wizards turn to each other as if the final moments before death were upon them. “Magnus, turn back now. You cannot defeat me while you are so very weak.” The dark wizard smirks.
