And the Oscar Goes to... Donald Trump
“For his leading role as the President in Season 1 of the Whitehouse, the 2019 Best Male Actor and Lifetime Achievement Award goes to Donald Trump. This wasn’t a difficult decision for the panel as there really wasn’t any competition. His opposition have repeatedly failed to produce a show that is worthy of watching and poor casting has led to unbelievable character portrayals that have consistently been outperformed by the winner.

Dear Mr. Trump, I have one word to share with you that if used as a root instrument, would solve the majority of the world’s problems. That word...love. We live in a world where many are looked down upon and treated less than based on the color of their skin, or where they’re from, or who they fall in love with. What should be looked at is what is in the heart. We are all equal, and should be treated as such.

Donald Trump has been President for three years now, and I so want a new one. I am certainly not alone, and the multitudes can list the reasons ad infinitum. I’m with them. But I have one very selfish reason that elevates above all others. I’m exhausted and need a break.
Rich MonettiPublished 4 years ago in The SwampAre We Getting Our Money’s Worth Amusing Trump?
In the modern era, all presidents have taken vacations and weekend trips to escape the stress of the job. FDR frequented a spa in Georgia; Truman returned to Missouri; Eisenhower visited Fraser, Colorado; JFK returned to his home in Hyannis Port; Reagan frequented his ranch in California; Carter went home to Plains, Georgia; G.W. Bush frequented his ranch in Texas; and Obama Christmased Hawaii, where he was actually born. No president in history, however, has spent as much time and money on “relaxation” as the current occupant of the White House, Donald J. Trump.

As I sit here and read a New York Times article about President Donald Trump, I can't help but imagine an old lady propped up at a dark smokey lounge near an airport somewhere slurping her third gin and tonic blaspheming about her ex husband. A shadow of her former self, precisely deploying the most spiteful insults and sentiment all the while knowing she had a much different opinion of said "bastard" at a different point in time and despite her level of intoxication the articulation and mutilation of said reputation of the ex was flawless and concise with the intent to destroy satisfied for now.

Throughout history, world empires have ended rather abruptly. The Babylonian Empire was destroyed when the Medes and the Persians diverted the Euphrates River. As a result, the Babylonians were no longer defended by the river. The Persian Empire was demolished by Alexander the Great in 331 BC even though the Persian army outnumbered the Greeks almost at a 6 to 1 ratio. After Alexander the Great suddenly died nine years later, the Greek Empire was split up into four different regions.

Donald J. Trump is either loved by many, or hated by most. On one side, he is an evil, male chauvinist that is racist to the marrow of the bone. On the other side, he is a breath of fresh, God-believing, Christian evangelical that will bring moral stability, true equality, and a stronger foreign policy and diplomacy. So which is it? The "left" hand or the "right" hand.

To The Republic, What keeps this administration up at night are the poor and downtrodden in America, those souls who long to be free from their impoverishment. What keeps this administration up at night are the African Americans who have never been able to enjoy the full rights and privileges of a nation that still only sees them as being half free. What keeps this administration up at night are the Latinos and Latinas in who live in fear of being rounded up and having their government kidnap their children. For if their children are to be kidnapped, they will surely be treated with cruelty and violence.

Whitney AlesePublished 5 years ago in The Swamp#RESIST and the Splintering of Political Culture
Introduction Donald Trump’s populist rhetoric has spurred a counter movement: the #resist movement. This response is unique in that it is outright aided by major media outlets internationally, as opposed to a grassroots movement localized within the United States. To understand the #resist movement, it is critical to first introduce Trump and provide a brief history of his election. The #resist movement's success originated with corporate activism and private enterprises which, with aid from oppositional media outlets, celebrities, and brands contributed to future polarizing the political atmosphere. These events have led to further radicalization not just on the left within the #resist movement, but also on the right. Lastly, this essay will discuss how the heated and divisive nature of politics may create an environment conducive to second term for Trump by splintering and weakening the liberal vote.

One of the hardest things in the world to do when you've been shown to be wrong is to apologize, but after wrongfully attributing a quote to President Donald Trump, Bette Midler did exactly that. Not only did she apologize, she posted the source information which proved her information that she originally posted was wrong.

As we all know by now Donald J Trump is the President. He ran a very controversial campaign and a lot of people including high-level politicians from both political parties said he would never win, which he quickly proved to be wrong. We all knew Trump for being a businessman who had some past failures, but who hasn’t made mistakes in their past? He even went into detail on how bad his failures were in his book, The Art of The Deal, on his former tv show The Apprentice and in several interviews. Whenever people bring up Trump's failures you have to keep in mind that six “bankruptcies” out of 515 investments and businesses isn’t a failure of a businessman. That’s like saying a basketball player who shot 515 baskets and missed six isn’t a star player. Whether you love him or hate him you are reaping the benefits from this great economy and it’s easier than ever to find a good high paying job with benefits.
