People always think: how much money can I have to be free and do what I want to do? How much money can you live in peace?

As if a certain amount of money could solve all problems and eliminate all uncertainties.

However, there are always some things in life that money can not do, and we often overlook the certain: the so-called wealth, only money is not enough.

To manage one's life is to think of it as the gift of life and to think of how to make the most of it.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Have you ever thought systematically about what you own?
Maybe you think of money, or "financial capital," which includes your actual monetary assets and the real, emotional, and physical benefits associated with them.
Such as degree of freedom, inner peace, confidence, contentment, consistency of values, influence, simplicity or generosity, etc.
You also have the tools to make a living, known as "career capital," whether you earn money by going to work or not. Career capital combines your talents, skills, meaningful contributions, and potential for success. It is a place where you have a high emotional commitment, a mission or vision that you believe in with passion.
"Social capital" represents the extent of your positive relationships, connections, and influence with family and friends. Relationships are an important part of wealth, a source of happiness, and a source of hope in everyday life.
Another name for experiential capital is Entertainment.
For children, recreation is as natural as breathing. But adults often abandon this natural expression of creativity and pleasure as useless.
Life needs to be experienced, just for the sake of pure enjoyment and fun, such as travel, adventure, hobbies, personal interests, etc.
"Biological capital" represents physical and emotional well-being.
It's great to have a healthy financial source, but it means nothing if you don't have the health of mind and body to enjoy it.
Physical capital includes physical health, such as adequate nutrition, strength, maintaining a healthy weight and regular exercise, as well as emotional health, such as positive energy, gratitude, happiness and satisfaction with life.
"Intellectual capital" refers to your store of "thinking."
The brain produces every thought, action, memory, feeling and experience we have about the world. When your life is no longer challenged and there is no need to learn and grow, life is on autopilot.
The brain needs new challenges, increasing the investment in intellectual capital, learning new things, is an investment in intellectual capital.
"Spiritual capital" is our life goal, an investment in our deepest beliefs.
Matter fades away, but spirit endures.
Spiritual capital is the cornerstone of a life portfolio because it is the reason behind the choices we make in our life portfolio.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Now that you know the seven types of capital that make up your life, different types of investment will bring different returns.

Investing in your portfolio involves a five-step process that includes: assessing your life, understanding your financial security, researching options, setting price targets, and comparing yourself to benchmarks.

There is an arrow on the map of the mall that says "You are here," and before the journey begins, we first examine our current position.

Similarly, knowing what you value most is an important foundation for building a life portfolio: work, health, play, learning, relationships, goals...

When you think about your life right now, how satisfied would you be?

Does being mediocre make you feel safer?

Where are you in your life right now? What opportunities and challenges are you facing right now?

What big thing do you wish you could actually experience, do, see, or create in your life?

What is holding you back, distracting you or making you live more cautiously than you would like?

Maybe you're in your comfort zone right now, living a familiar life, and when you take stock, you may feel the urge to rush ahead.

Taking stock of your life is the fuel that fuels your drive to live a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

An important step in understanding and building your life portfolio is to take an honest and thorough look at your money security. This starts with gauging the size and health of your finances and calculating whether your financial formula for life is sustainable.

Do your annual expenses and lifestyle choices align with your source of income?

What investment and savings goals will ensure your financial health in the future?

Do you think you live in a place of abundance or scarcity?

How much is "enough" for you? How do you define financial freedom?

In what ways does money amplify or diminish your life, your dreams, your choices, your confidence, your freedom?

Knowing your level of financial security can put you on a higher footing and reduce some of your fear and uncertainty.

Knowing where you are, what areas of your life you want to focus on, and whether your financial security is healthy, the next thing you need to know is what you care about. What is the best way to invest your life energy?

Just like thoroughly researching stocks, mutual funds, and other investments before committing money, it's crucial to take the time to examine "what my life is for."

The answer to this question will guide how we decide to invest our time, talent, energy, money and other resources.

What would you do if you knew you couldn't fail? What are the things that make you lose track of time or bring out the best in you?

The answer will help you identify the most fulfilling and exciting areas of your life. Knowing where your greatest joy lies is like seeing the arrow on your compass, pointing you to the areas that allow you to exert the most energy, make a contribution, and achieve meaning.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In a financial portfolio, only knowing the target return can you choose the right investments to meet those expectations, and the same applies to your life portfolio.
What does success mean to you personally, professionally, and financially? Assuming you had all the wealth you needed and you knew you were going to succeed, what would you do differently? Describe your most desirable vision for the future. Does your vision scare you?
Setting clear and purposeful goals is powerful, and it is gratifying to see that your life is unconsciously moving toward those goals.
Playwright Ibsen said: Money can be the shell of many things, but is not the fruit inside.
It brings food, but not appetite; Bring medicine, but not health; Bring acquaintance, but do not bring friendship, bring enjoyment, but do not bring peace of happiness.
It is not the end of life, but a tool of life.
When you look at your life, you will find that your capital is not just the number in the bank card, but also contains your emotions, health, relationships, intelligence...
The purpose of investing in life is not to gain money, but to enrich the experience.
