Stages of Being High
No two highs are the same, just as no two people and no two strains are the same, but there are some decidedly familiar stages of being high that you probably know quite well. Not all of them are great—you can't predict when a wave of paranoia might wash over you—but from the first moments of trying to gauge your high to those final, meditative moments before you drift off for the night, a lot of it is pretty darn good. It's always a different experience, with familiar phases and stages in each.
Nicola P. YoungPublished 5 years ago in PotentThe Different Ways to Smoke Weed
Let's start with something everyone will know even if they don't use it. The joint, a classic, has been a favorite among older smokers who do not have the lungs for anything. It is well balanced, can be slow on the uptake but it is still effective, and great for one or two person/s. People say that this and the blunt waste smoke and while yes it can if you are by yourself, with that said the more people, the less wasted. Speaking of blunts I think it would be good to segue into that topic.
Blunt KingPublished 5 years ago in PotentWhy You Did Not Get High the First Time You Smoked Weed
Not getting high the first time a person smokes is not a new phenomenon by any means. This has been a common complaint since the 1960s when smoking cannabis first became popular. A study done in the late 60s revealed that 41 percent of the people who had smoked weed for the first time while in the study felt no different than before they had smoked it. And even a book that came out in 1970 called A Child’s Garden of Grass had a lot to say in confirming this common problem.

1. Marijuana is a safer drug than alcohol and tobacco. I mean this in two ways: the first is that the drug itself isn't overly harmful on the body and the second is that people who are under the influence aren't aggressive.

The question still remains, even as legalization sweeps across the country, is marijuana a drug or medicine? It's taken the US by storm, and only grow steadfastly more popular as we move into the future. While many potheads and smokers of all kinds may be jumping for joy, it isn't all that good; for, like most narcotics, there's a price to pay. While marijuana may be a far more helpful Schedule I narcotic than most, it can still have some damaging and debilitating effects when combined with other substances. If you're trying a new prescription, know a friend who's taking medication combined with cannabis, or just want to know more about what you're putting in your body, talk to a medical specialist and ensure their safety. The number one key approach in minimize these following risks is to spot them before the can become worse.

"Hey, hey, hey, hey. Smoke weed everyday." — Snoop Dogg I remember hearing "The Next Episode" by Snoop Dogg the first time, and hearing that phrase punctuate the song's ending. It was a simple song lyric, but a powerful one. As a kid who eventually turned into a raver known for their love of cannabis, I can honestly say that's a great reminder to add to a song.
