Although humanity is the crowning jewel of God’s creation, we are not its end goal. Instead, God made all things for His glory, and we glorify Him the most when we reflect His holy character. (LIGONIER MINISTRIES)

Introduction. God loves and honors the beauty in you and in me. You and I are the crowning glory of God’s creation.

Let us consider in our hearts God’s immense creation. Our Creator’s universe vast and magnificent is beyond our comprehension. Wherever you and I venture in God’s wonderland. We are awestruck by God’s creative complexity and yet His simplicity in design. Each piece fitting together like a giant jigsaw puzzle. Powerfully interlinked together. Each piece needed by the others. One piece missing and the whole puzzle collapses.

For example, the simple atom of Hydrogen. The basic building block for all life. Just one atom, but without it, life would cease to exist. We are far more important than an atom of Hydrogen, yes? You are loved and blessed by God our Heavenly Father.

We can only glimpse a little of what our creator God has made. You and I are merely a speck on His tiny planet. In a universe that is vast and ever expanding. Ever changing, ever new, ever magnificent. Ever a testimony of God’s power and His love.

Back to the notion that you and I are the Masterpiece in all of God’s handiwork. This makes me feel tremendously loved and truly special. How do you feel about all this? Pretty exceptional, yes???

We are the crowning Masterpiece in all of God’s creation. Absolutely. We shine brighter for the Almighty One than the sun. Surely. All the suns in all His galaxies. For the sun does not love Him and praise His Holy name, as we do.

Each person is unique in our own right. Individual, beautiful and specific. No one quite like you or the same as me. God through His Holy Word reminds us of this time and time again. We are priceless to Him. Each of us are a beloved child of God.

Scripture Readings: Because you are precious in My eyes,

and honored, and I love you, (Isaiah 43:4a, ESV)

For you and I this is the greatest mystery of all. God the creator of all that there is. LOVES us.

Praise God our Heavenly Father for His steadfast and enduring love for us.

His Steadfast Love Endures Forever

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good,

for His steadfast love endures forever. (Psalm 136:1, ESV)

The Lord your God is in your midst.

Scripture Reading: a mighty one who will save.

He will rejoice over you with gladness.

He will quiet you by His love.

He will exult over you with loud singing. (Zephaniah 3:17, ESV)

Ever considered it is disobedience to keep silent about God’s love and faithfulness? Well, according to the Book of Psalms it is. David in Psalm 40 wrote, “He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God.” (v:3a)

Praise God!!! You and I have been purchased by the sacrificial blood of Jesus. We are sinners washed clean by the saving grace of our Lord and Savior, Christ. Praise to His Holy name. For the sacrifice of the blood of the Lamb of God. Who died on our behalf and purchased our salvation.

Scripture Readings: For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23, ESV)

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to His great mercy, He has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, (1 Peter 1:3, ESV)

Praise God!!! For all our Father’s blessings would take eternity. This we have. This you and I shall do. So many are God’s blessings. Blessings through our lives of healing, peace, hope and enduring love. As well as His blessings for a bright future filled with God’s love.

Praise God!!! You and I choose to praise God our Heavenly Father in times of heartache. We believe and recall He is close by always. This belief is the very foundation of our faith in our Heavenly Father. Our trust in God is strengthened through prayer and our reading of His Holy Word. God’s Holy and protective presence is a soothing and a calming balm.

Scripture Reading: It is good to give thanks to the Lord,

to sing praises to Your name, O Most High.

to declare Your steadfast love in the morning,

and Your faithfulness by night, (Psalm 92: 1–2, ESV)

Praise God in times of heartache and sadness. As we believe and recall He is close.

Scripture Reading: Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10, ESV)

Through His psalmist David, many songs of praise and love to God Almighty were written.

It is sad, but ever true! Life can and does break our hearts at times. God’s Holy Word is a love story written especially for the broken hearted. God’s Word lifts us when our spirits are crushed under the burdens of life. God’s Holy Word grants to us victory. When we place our upmost trust and outright faith in Him. Quiet and solitary prayer time spent in the presence of God. Fills our hearts with love and our souls with His peace.

Scripture Reading: You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. (Isaiah 26:3, ESV)

So, it is in our times of heartache and sadness that we reach out our hand for His Holy Word. God our Holy Spirit never fails to comfort us, by leading us to the words of love and strength needed.

Scripture Reading: God is our refuge and strength,

a very present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1, ESV)

We cannot change the circumstance that causes us the sadness and the heartache. When they come, you and I have the strength and the courage gained through the Holy Word of God to change how we deal with life. With God we are victorious. In fact, with God as our ally. Times of hardship are used as opportunities to praise God. Yes, we praise God for His love and the strength gained through prayer and His Holy Word to gain victory over hardship.

Scripture Reading: The Lord is good,

A stronghold in the day of trouble,

And He knows those who take refuge in Him. (Nahum 1:7, ESV)

Such a comfort these words of love are. God’s love for each of His children is so personal and deep. That, “He knows those who take refuge in Him.” Our Heavenly Father takes such a personal interest in our lives. God knows when we need Him and His help. Even before we ask Him in prayer.

Scripture Readings: Your Word Is a Lamp to My Feet

I have stored up Your word in my heart, (Psalm 119:11, ESV)

Your word is a lamp to my feet,

and a light to my path. (Psalm 119:105, ESV)

Let Your hand be ready to help me, (Psalm 119:173, ESV)

You and I have complicated lives. Our days may be filled with gladness. Other days filled with sadness and despair. One thing that is guaranteed. God our Heavenly Father loves us with a love without limits and eternally.

God our Father is always there with us. God made us to love Him and to be loved by Him, forever.
