The Things I Wish I Knew
So by now it shouldn’t come as a surprise to most, but we live in a time where we can argue that we’re all on a pretty even playing field. The Internet and technology that we all have access to enables us to reach far and beyond anything that came even 10 years ago… the advice of "just do it" is something that I’ve actually put into practice time and time again, but there’s one main important thing to consider... Audience!
Ryan McDonaghPublished 5 years ago in MotivationStuck in Limbo
Life in limbo, feeling lost—just a few phrases we seem to throw about when life is taking us on a not-so-pleasant path, or when life just seems to not be happening the way we had pictured it to go. You may feel you are up against a brick wall, stuck in the same situation with little or no progress been made whatsoever.

A lot of people don’t believe that they “Deserve” to be wealthy. But this is simply not true. And, if you have this block, then I’d like to clear it up right now.

1. Get rid of the nonessential objects and possessions Some people hold onto material possessions long after they had outlived their use. But doing so will keep an individual stuck in the past. Let me explain.
Harold SconiersPublished 5 years ago in MotivationChandrayaan-2: Where Did India Fail?
India has been in the news past few weeks because of Chandrayaan-2. It was India’s second attempt to land on Moon, trying a soft landing and in the South Pole. You feel the goosebumps hearing this. For a developing nation, this is a big feat to even attempt—or even think of trying such a venture. Sure, there are bigger problems, but we are as much dreamers as others are. We want no stone unturned in any fields.

One of the biggest issues with success is that once you get past the euphoria of what you accomplished, you're left with a question:
Eric BurdonPublished 5 years ago in MotivationStaying Motivated
It's not a good feeling when you're stuck in the same place without much progress going in the direction you want. Sometimes I have to remind myself that eventually I will make it, it's just going to take focus and some smart investing skills to get there. I know once it starts adding up and I can see it's really making a difference I will feel better about everything. Along the way I try to have some small victories and try to consume healthy food items. Maybe this will aid in getting me in a better, more clear state of mind. I try to stay positive but with failure after failure, sometimes it takes a toll on me.

When I sit down to write, I don't always know what I am going to write about, I just listen to those little intuitive impulses that guide my life more and more by the day.

This morning my mom (47 years old) asked me if I thought I was better than her. Flabbergasted, and a little bit offended, I asked her why. According to her, I just think I'm better than her because I live in a 2,500 sqft home, I have my own business, my fiance makes a great amount of money (45k+/yr), and we have our puppy and our son to go along with us, yet we aren't struggling one bit. To which I responded, "No??? Why would I think I'm better than you??? You're my mom. If I actually thought that, that would make me a pretty bratty kid" (I used other words, but we can't curse here so 😂).

Age: 18 Education: Dropout Age: 23 Education: GED Future: Unlimited I have started and restarted this article probably a thousand times. Each of my drafts sounded like I was trying to defend my mistake of dropping out, or it sounded like I was making excuses for not finishing high school earlier. I was either too cocky or not confident at all. I was not able to articulate what I wanted explained. Now, after walking across the stage at the local tech college's GED/HSED (High School Equivalency Diploma) graduation ceremony, I finally feel secure about my future. Now that I am only a few months shy of starting my college career, I understand what it means to overcome a massive pile of sh*t that has been keeping me from realizing my full potential.
Eliza ThornberryPublished 5 years ago in MotivationDo You Have a 3-Year Plan?
A few weeks ago, I wrote a reminder to check your long-term goals, and to gauge whether they need changing, be it big or small. But one thing I failed to recognize at that moment was how people define long-term goals and long-term plans.
