Beyond Your Fear Is A Whole New You
We all have fear about something in our lives. It could be rejection, loss, failure, or any other emotions like anchors dragging behind us and holding us back from doing what we want in life. Some fears are all-encompassing and literally become so much of our personality that fear becomes what we live with every day. We push away friends and family or polluting the possibility of creating new friends and seeing new opportunities.

Dreams come to you at night for a reason
They sometimes do not come for days or weeks. They sometimes come in waves. Sometimes, just sometimes, they come so clear and vibrant it feels like they touch your very soul. But there is a reason dreams come to you in your sleep. Dreams need your undivided attention. Dreams need the canvas of your mind to express the subconscious and plant important information that one day will trigger a response. What that response will be is not always be clear. But it does have your undivided attention.

Birthing a Book
Birthing a book can be daunting. It’s a statement of fact and if you’ve gone through the process with no bumps along the way, then good'o for you and don’t tell me about it. I’ve wanted to be a writer since I was a kid banging out stories on my mum’s old typewriter, and technically I’ve been once since 2017 when I published my first book.

Common Courtesy in Communicating
You abruptly walk out the door sighing in frustration. You hang up the phone suddenly, glad that conversation is finally over. Or, you end up not even responding to that text message because you know responding won’t get you any further than the headache that started when you first saw the text. We’ve all gotten up in arms over a misunderstanding when speaking with someone. Well, a few considerations can help make things a little clearer.

The road to success is always under construction
How many dreams have you let slip through your fingers because you were waiting for the perfect moment? Or are still waiting to be ‘ready’ to start something you want? In my home I have many sketchpads full of ideas, brands, business ideas and things I wanted to do all sketched out. Once in particular I remember once having an entire corporation drawn out from top to bottom with about seven or eight different product lines and revenue streams. All I needed to do was start with one of them in some shape or form. But I didn’t.

Advice I’d Give My Younger Self
Someone recently questioned what advice you'd give your younger self. I was curious of my answers. I'm now in my forties and changed a lot since I was young and learned many lessons along the way. Therefore, I’m going to dispense some worldly advice as if I was talking to my 17-year-old self (which feels very recent and not the gulf of time it might seem to some of you youngsters).

Petting Slugs and Harvesting Wonder
One of my insecurities when I was in my early 20s (and mid 20s) … (and late 20s) was how much I still loved wonder and play. I felt like I was failing at growing up all the way. It was around this time that my path deviated somewhat from the 'normal' trajectory. I didn't, haven't, and have no intention of hitting adult mile markers of home ownership, marriage or children. I'm not inherently opposed to any of those things, but around the time I started petting slugs and stopped pressuring myself to cross of items from the life goal list to show my worth, I started harvesting wonder once more.

It's Okay to be Negative Sometimes
Have you ever read off your morning mantra with a bit of "WTF am I doing?!" vibe? Have you ever said the words even when you strongly didn't mean it? The shame, the guilt, from not living a 100% positive life has begun to plague many. It's no doubt that social media has been paving the paths for our ideas on beauty, activism, lifestyle, and ways we see ourselves. However, a culture of crystal-loving gods and goddesses have deemed it necessary to keep the positivity - even when there isn't any to be found.
