Stop Chasing Happiness and Start Making Yourself Strong
Chasing happiness doesn't make sense. Happiness is a transitory state that, in order to exist, must be counterbalanced by unhappiness. To live a good life, a much more worthwhile thing to pursue is strength—particularly mental toughness.

Oh, You’re Unhappy?
Life seems to have a mysterious way of doing things. Some may claim that everything life has dealt them has been a great misfortune. They don't have the job they want, they're not making enough money, and they're unlucky. I've always wondered why so many people go through life with unfulfilled dreams. Why are so many people in the world unhappy? Why do people work in jobs they absolutely loathe? Why are people that want to be rich so poor?

Greatness Is In Gratitude
We all have dreams. Every one of us. You may have a dream job, dream house. It could be your dream to graduate high school, or be accepted into University. Maybe it's even something as simple as owning a pet or having a family someday. Dreams, vision, and goals are all very important to me. When things aren't going as planned, I find it to be a great practice to remind yourself of where you're aiming rather than reminiscing on times past.

In Our Darkest Moments
Things are bad right now... I'm not sure how else to deal with it besides writing. It's like I've been beating my head against the wall trying to figure everything out and with no result. I miss my little girl, so much; I never imagined I could miss anybody like I do her in my entire life. The scariest part should be that I have no idea when I'll see her again. But It's not... the scariest part is I'm not even sure I deserve to any more. After Greta left, I became so self destructive I don't recognize myself anymore. Now I wonder if I will ever get back to who I used to be. Should I do that in the first place? Or should I be trying to use this tribulation as an opportunity to evolve into something new? The bigger question is can I? Or will I let this darkness consume me? I can hear the calling, the urge to just quit and leave this entire world behind. Anything to ease the pain of having literally lost everything I really care about. If it were not for that little girl who calls me Dada, I probably would succumb to such a selfish desire. It's because of her that I refuse to give in to those demons. Even though I can feel them clawing at me on a constant basis.

Girl it's time for YOU!
It's not selfish, it's called self care. At some point in your life you've heard the infamous saying "you can't help others unless you are ok first." or when you get on a plane and the flight attendants say "please put on your mask first before helping others around you.". Both of these sayings speak to the idea that if you are in a bad place or struggling you don't have the capacity to help others around you. A valid point? Sure, but what happens when it's just day to day life? When as moms you're juggling kids and a household? or When as a single woman just working on her career? or When it's just a simple day running errands, working out and cleaning? What happens then when you feel yourself start to burn out or max out and it's nothing extraordinary but the simple chaos of everyday life? No one tells you those sayings in the middle of the "norm" and the saddest part is that is when we start to forget to take care of ourselves the most. That is why right now in this moment I am here to give you a reminder that YOU matter and YOU deserve a breath of air and a moment to yourself to keep going through the "norm".

How To Handstand
Handstands are vital in life... what a very bold statement! Not everyone can or even wants to be able to handstand, so why did I just blatantly state that they are vital? Because as a person currently learning how to handstand my life has become that much greater and purposeful just from attempting a handstand every day. Because in setting that extremely difficult goal that I am determined to accomplish, my mindset has changed to a "can do" mindset. Every morning I wake up looking forward to the possibility that perhaps today ill be able to handstand for longer, today I will train to become stronger. That mindset is what pushes me to accomplishment every day, even with things that have nothing to do with the handstand!

Keep Your Creativity Alive
Your creation matters. Whether it is something that is personal to you or something that you share with the world, it is something that is worthy of your time. It can feel like if you don’t have immediate success or you aren’t gaining a substantial amount of recognition, then it doesn’t matter what you do. It can feel like you shouldn’t bother writing, taking photos, creating a YouTube video, producing music or doing a small art project. You might start wondering if it’s worth your time. It is.

What Buddha Can Teach us about Going Big
February is the official month of giving up on year resolutions. I certainly have been struggling to keep up with mine. My background is in business development, which makes me prone to planning, setting deadlines and milestones. As I don't seem to reach my expectations and lose my motivation, I can't stop thinking of Buddha.

6 Fighting Moves Against the Quater-life Crisis Blues
The dreaded quarter-life crisis. That point in your early twenties usually right after you graduate college where life becomes so unclear and murky. There is so much pressure to figure out your passion and career. Figure out how you are going to support yourself, find your significant other (if you want one), Start a family (if you want one), and try and figure out the rest of your life. It can be very overwhelming especially if you have dreams and they do not seem to be going where you want them to.

I'm not on the Clearance Rack
The dictionary defines Self worth as the sense of one's own value or worth as a person; self-esteem; self-respect. So it makes sense that our choices when choosing a mate will be directly connected to self worth. For example, have you ever been in a bad relationship, then afterwards asked yourself, "What was i thinking"?! Ever wonder why you keep attracting the same type of individual? Different face, but same characteristics? Knowing deep inside, your settling for far less than what you deserve? Truth is, the relationships we chose are very often are a direct reflection of how we feel about ourselves. If we believe we unworthy of love, we will choose a mate that will support that. Although it can manifest itself in many different ways, here i will address three ways in which low self worth will have you choosing from the bottom of the barrel.

The Art Of Being Successful
The key to being successful is patience! You must remember Rome wasn't built overnight. There's no such thing as a overnight success. Even those who had content that went viral put in work prior to the content that got them noticed by the world. Before thinking of becoming successful you have to realize the difference between being rich and being successful. I'm sure you can think of one or more celebrity or even a once established business that went bankrupt. The complete opposite of being successful! It's not about where you start as long as you start, progress is progress no matter the speed. An important part to being successful is to keep striving and dont worry about where you are as far as progress but think of the end result you wish to achieve. Not only will this help to keep you motivated but you will seem to attract the level of success you long for.

Am I Still EDB??
The year was 1984. Calling this a super productive year, would be without question an arguable statement... The Los Angeles Raiders defeat the Washington Redskins, 38–9, to win Super Bowl XVIII in Tampa, Florida. TED (conference) founded. Canadian prime minister, Pierre Trudeau, announces his retirement. Marvin Gaye is shot to death by his father, a day before his 45th birthday. The Edmonton Oilers win The Stanley Cup, beating the defending champion New York Islanders by 4 games to 1. The Boston Celtics beat the Los Angeles Lakers in 7 games to capture their 15th NBA Championship. Jeopardy! begins its syndicated version, with present-day host Alex Trebek. Republican President Ronald Reagan defeats Democratic former Vice President Walter F. Mondale with 59% of the popular vote, the highest since Richard Nixon's 61% popular vote victory in 1972. Reagan carries 49 states in the electoral college; Mondale wins only his home state of Minnesota by a mere 3,761 vote margin and the District of Columbia. Future U.S. Secretary of State and 2004 presidential nominee John Kerry gets elected as the Democratic U.S. Senator from Massachusetts, and was in office until 2013, when he resigned to become the Secretary of State, succeeding Hillary Clinton. White supremacist and Order leader Robert Jay Mathews is killed in a gun battle and fire during an FBI siege on Whidbey Island. And with all that going on around the world, smack in the middle east end of these states united sits a young baby full of opportunity.
