Bullseye
Why have I become the target of a people who wish to rip me of my very existence? Do not let me down like this good people, do not target me for your fear of not understanding my uniqueness. I am the pyramids that can never be replicated or duplicated. I am the mountain of dreams, and the pillar of culture. I am the truth of history; I am the echo of freedom that blares in the eardrums of your soul. So why then have I become the target? When did it become acceptable to re-write my existence to benefit the systems you've created? Why now has oppression become the new chain that strangles me into a heartbeat less dangle, leaving me in a generational death? You've been given three lives before I even get a chance to enter the game of life.

Re-Reading My Old Diaries
My mother was an avid keeper of journals. Sometimes I would see them strewn about the house; an old notebook or a little, cute red diary. Sometimes I would take up journal writing as well, but never with the same enthusiasm as my mother. I had nothing against keeping diaries, and at times I even wished I would do it more. But I never felt satisfied after writing in my diary. It was a chore to me, a chore that I did repeatedly in hopes of bettering myself and my life in some way.

A Predicament at Pearl’s Place
People are easy, more predictable the more chaotic they act. Take that guy over there for instance. This one leaning on the streetlamp post and smoking his cigarette. From the way he is dressed, to the place he is standing he wants you to think he is waiting for the bus. That bus does not come till 4:30PM, it is currently 3:47 and no one waits at a bus stop leaning on a lamppost. This guy is bored while he waits for a “client” to show up. He is dressed like a hipster met a LA version of a Harajuku street artist while he sips his Starbucks drink and acts preoccupied with his equally overpriced phone. He is dealing drugs. Heck, think about it a few seconds more and you can even tell what kind it is he is selling. Think longer about it, you will know what kind of client he is waiting on, how late they are, and how quickly this dealer will vacate the area after the deal is done. But it is not important. This person is just like thousands of others doing what they know to get by. This kid is just an example I am using to discuss how easy it is to analyze people.

HOW TO EXPLAIN CAR TROUBLE
This video is so hilarious and relatable because I have definitely been in a situation where I had car trouble and didn’t know how to explain it to my husband. I think the car is suppose to run smoothly for years, I mean, why should I have to worry about maintenance? Shouldn’t the car have automatic repair features?

2020: A Year of Maybes
Maybe it was what it was meant to be, what we needed. 2020 has become a year when life was put on pause with no one knowing when it would resume or if it ever would pick up back from where it left off again. Taking all the excuses away because we have nowhere to be and no one to see.

When Being A Creative Writer
When in the process of writing I always ask myself two questions. One, will anyone want to hear what I have to say? Two, am I even talented enough to share my work? These are valid questions to ask. There are so many talented writers and there is not a topic that has not already seemed to be covered in the world of writing.

Reflection
I'm a writer by trade. It's literally my job to write films and stuff for television. I know many writers that have said that COVID lockdown, has done wonders for their writing life. They've written more than they have in years. Well... lucky them. If anything, lockdown has had the complete opposite effect on me. I've hardly written a thing.

A Mindful Walk for Motivation and Positivity
Look around you. Slowly breathe in and breathe out. Feel the weight of your whole body. Slowly walk and focus on the way your legs move, how your soles touch the ground and drive you forward. Your legs take you anywhere you want to go – any destination, any place. They will listen and they will help you reach any mountain you decide to climb.

A decision is like choosing between butter or cream cheese on your bagel It may seem like there are only two option an either/or situation but there is more to it than that oversimplified version. You could choose not to put either on or both or choose jelly instead or even opt out the bagel for something more healthier. The possibilities are endless.

Mom's Closet
The other day, my mom cleaned out my old closet at her house to make room for a built in desk so she has a nice place to continue working remotely. She packed up everything that I left there and she drove it to the town I live in. I knew I didn't need all of those old things. We met in the Home Depot parking lot and I moved all of those old things to my boyfriend's truck. I spread it all out on his living room floor and I started picking through all of the old, painful, sometimes joyful parts of my life. These are the things that I learned.
