Expectations vs. Reality
One of the hardest things to do is differentiate in life is your expectations and plain and simple the reality of things. Sometimes we examine our own lives through the lens of how we perceive our friends and acquaintances lives being and we subconsciously or sometimes fully consciously expect the same in our lives or become envious of that lifestyle although I believe firmly that everyone is deserving of a healthy environment a full stomach and positive people surrounding them, unfortunately that just isn't the reality and the sooner we are able to not only accept that it's the way it is but that there are alternatives to it, the sooner we can begin looking at a solution to the issue, instead of just being angry try your absolute hardest to be content in life and the slightest step in the direction of your expectations will be all the more satisfying.

Various Gifts From 2020- The Year That Just Keeps On Giving
2020 has been rough. Pushing the pause button on our entire lives could never be an easy feat but adding in the familial prison that became our reality was nothing short of cruel. And whether we embraced the reprieve from our normal day-to-day or used the time to do nothing but “finish Netflix”, it seems we all have one commonality: We have packed on a few unwanted pounds, routines, and self-esteem issues.

Blogging Is My Friend
Blogging is my friend and has been my friend since 2009. How old was I? I was only thirteen. As a child, it was hard for me to express myself. I was afraid if I end up saying something that either offended them or hurts me back. Was whatever I wanted to say important anyways? If I am happy or sad about something, what good is it to tell another person who has nothing to do with it? Why would anyone want to know whats my favorite color or movie to watch?

Live your life, your dreams, your purpose
It doesn't matter how old you are; you must find what you were born to do and do it. Life is not long; it passes like a vapor just like that and you are gone. Before you die, you have got to find out what you are here for. You could do a search on YouTube or google and watch things that make your interest rise like motivational videos and vlogs. and typing in things like find my purpose, living my best life, what is my potential, etc. Perhaps read some interesting books that intrigue you; but more importantly, look within yourself and you will find the answer is there...waiting for you to seek it, and to find it. “What you seek is also seeking you” ...it is just “waiting.” I heard this quote somewhere, and I believe it.

Completely Unsatisfied
I always had big plans for my life, as I'm sure everyone does. I wanted to be the CEO of a company by the time I was 25 and have all my debts paid off. I figured I would be jet-setting around the world and enjoying a healthy financial 20's. I know I know it sounds laughable to say the least, and in fact none of that happened, and I'm already 23.

An Open Letter
I was a messed up kid with a messed up home life. I was rebelling as much as I could without getting hurt. Skipping school, smoking weed, stealing money and cigarettes from my mom, going on joy rides when she fell asleep drunk. I wore see-through shirts and too small jeans and listened to music I didn't even like. I just needed someone to give a shit. That's all. Just someone. Anyone. I chose you.

A Practice of Making Peace With Ourselves
For weeks I thought I was dying. There I said it. I was told by my gynecologist that there are masses in my right ovary and they could potentially be cancerous but, to not think too much about it. Which of course, I did. The first week after that appointment I had to come to terms with so many things I had taken for granted. My fertility and the possibility I may not be able to bring life into this world; my mortality, and what that would be like to not only die young but to leave behind a partner who would have to carry that hurt for the rest of his life. We both went through the emotions of what things could look like for us if my prognosis was negative, and it sucked. I started to spiral into this place of “why me?!”, how come I couldn’t just be normal like everyone else my age getting married and having babies and not worrying about their insides rotting away prematurely.
