How do we live in this world ?
With this world always changing how do we stay up to date? I was born in a beautiful island the the Caribbean called Grenada. Oh how beautiful it is, and how proud I am of being Called a Grenadian. Grenada is called the spice isle of the Caribbean, because of all the spice we produce as a country. I was born and on February 20th 1985, the world back then was simple but great. it was what I will call the 1980s the bridge between the old times and this new age of living. The lifestyle is totally different now as I remember it to be, RESPECT is not as it was, LOVE is not as it was, TOGETHERNESS is not the same, RELIGION is not the same, SCHOOL is not the same, MUSIC is not the same. and the list goes on. My question is what brought about that drastic chance in this world? This is what I keep asking my self everyday, as I look back at my days growing up as a child and what it is now it had me confused, but then I realized some basic facts.

3 Key Ways Social Media Distorts Our Perception of Beauty
The definition of beauty is one of the most divisive, diverse, and debated topics in the world’s history. There is an argument as old as time, of whether or not “beauty is in the eye of the beholder”. Some believe that beauty is completely subjective, and thus merely exists in the minds of those who contemplate it. Others argue that if beauty is subjective, then the word beauty has no meaning and that nothing is beautiful as a result.

Don't Wait for Life to Change!!!
When I was a young kid, it was not easy for me. I woke up everyday as thought that one day the world we live in would accept me for being me. I was the always that one kid that everyone liked to make fun of, tease and bully. I was the one that was always sitting at the lunch tables all by myself, because no one wanted to sit with me. I was the one that other kids would pull nasty pranks on, like put stuff in my food, or make me sit at the table where the birds liked to take a dump on. No one tried to figure me out, even the teachers would say, "They are kids, it is only a phase." No one, even my family knew how painful it was to be that one person everyone picked on. When I went to my mom and told her what heppend, she told me I did it to myself and that I probably deserved it.

Life a bit changed after the LockDown
We see everyday as a different story but Covid-19 changed everything to a lot which required new learnings and modifications along with the adaptations. Speaking specifically of this year, it has been a full roller-coaster ride. Lockdown changed almost none to all, lives changes, many got disrupted and many lost. No one was left untouched. However after a very long period in lockdown, many may find that adjusting back to normality again with modifications proves challenging. So how can you get life back on track after facing the lockdown, Here we pose some quick tips.Accept the “New Normal” or stay abackWe may find it challenging to adapt, specifically from a mental health viewpoint, but we can make this period of transition easier ourselves. First, any restrictions as there still are and should be there, that remain in place as of now, are there to protect your health, health of your loved ones and the global lives as in this pandemic we are all connected, helping to save lives. Second, consider that this is required to get back to the life before lockdown so that it’s easy to begin with.Become Mindful and Involve it as a daily routineThe rise in levels of anxiety and stress can aggravate existing cases of depressive disorders as well as trigger new cases. Mindfulness is as effective as antidepressant medications in preventing a depression relapse. It has numerous health benefits, like lowering blood pressure and especially strengthening the immune system which is must at this time. A silent tone, the aura vibration or a session with a counsellor, anything which works for you, adapt it for real.Meeting Family and Friends – AgainYou should follow the restrictions put in place in your local community, particularly for the vulnerable and elderly. In many countries there are still restrictions on the number of people allowed to gather in public spaces if you do not consider yours, or meeting points, so you may need to start small.Try and meet up in outdoors, such as walk in the park or a ride, as evidence says that COVID-19 transmission being lower outdoors in comparison to indoors. So enjoy open space before heading to a enclosed one.Share and Talk yourself OutThe COVID-19 pandemic has increased tendency to develop a sort of mental disorders which is being studied too. The psychological vulnerability of the millions who have contracted COVID-19 is troublesome and still under checks. Survivors of the illness, particularly severe cases, may experience a specific kind of trauma. Research shows that many experience symptoms of post traumatic stress disorder. So, don’t fear of sharing, it helps and guides you for your own good.Keep up with Good Habits and Betray the Bad OnesLockdown has been tough for most of us. But still, it was also an opportunity to break the regular cycle and adopt new habits and behaviours, learn a new skill, or take up a hobby which many did. So, don’t get yourself caught up once again leaving them behind. Keep the check on their maintenance as well. But if lockdown saw you eating lots of comfort food and your exercise regime fell off completely as the gym was closed, getting back to it might be hard. Second thoughts
Second thoughts. Some story’s aren’t always beautiful, some story’s break your heart and leave you questioning everything in life. The truth is not everything’s beautiful in this world anymore. The saddest part of this world is that sometime the beautiful part drown in the darkness. Sometimes beautiful people get lost most because they have this feeling that they don’t belong, that they aren’t attractive enough, that they can’t do something as well as the next, that someone will always outdo them. It’s a horrific thing to watch the people is this world lost in self hate because of the way the world trained them to feel. Maybe I’ll you’re life not like this, maybe you’ve lived in a perfect home with the perfect life yet still somethings missing. Could you imagine it a feel of sadness in your soul or not belonging anywhere or to anything. That person with the smile next to you could feel this, what’s the last thing you’d want to say to them if you could? Sometimes our words are venom and we don’t even know we’ve bitten the one we love, or even the passerby. Sometimes you’re word can break someone’s last straw. There’s times when the person you know the stands there smiling is the one that’s lived in the emptiness longer then they can remember.

2020 vision
Just because one chooses to believe in something, that doesn't by definition automatically make what you believe to be true or accurate. One great question to ask yourself is, what is it that I believe and why did I choose to believe in it? growing up there were many situations in which I decided to believe in something just because it came from a trusted source. I'm sure you have had a similar situation when someone told you something and later on you found out it was all just a lie or rumor. So if this trusted source /person is telling me this and it seems to make sense, I will take this into my mind and it now becomes a fact from that point on. As I got older and started scanning what I believed, I came to the conclusion that roughly 95% of what I thought to be true was actually false and that negative information was running my direction in life, and that direction ran me right into the darkest hole of despair.

Let's Daydream
Let’s Day Dream I daydream every morning, and here’s why. Daydreaming is something we do all the time. Sometimes we do it intentionally, when we feel the need to zone out and escape whatever it is that is occupying our time at that moment. Other times we daydream unintentionally, we slip into a daydream without realising. Daydreaming might paint the picture of an old film, a poem of young lovers with distance between them. While the romantic image of daydreaming is most definitely a great depiction, it does in fact have many faces. It is indeed a rabbit hole, where we slip into the hazy opening to our subconscious mind. A lucky packet, if no intentions are set. Without set intentions or if we are in the wrong mood, our subconscious can indeed bring up concerns and worries and trigger a momentum of frustrating consequences for the day or night ahead.

Confessions of a perfectionist
One of my biggest struggles in my public and personal sphere is being a perfectionist. My desire to be a flawless person in both my internal and external life means that on a day to do basis I set myself exceedingly high standards that I set out to achieve. Whether it's making sure that I get the highest grades on my papers, ticking off everything on my to do list or making sure that every dish in my cupboard is in the right place. Yes, my perfectionism is a motivating factor in achieving my goals, practicing self-improvement and in giving 150% into everything I do. It means that I'm a high achiever; a trait which has a massive downside at the best of times. I often find myself setting standards that are extremely high and often impossible to achieve. If I don't achieve these ideals then I become very self-critical about myself and my own self-worth. I become so overwhelmed with all of these stresses and my own demands of making sure that I'm this perfect being that I often end up over-thinking and procrastinating the task at hand due. My fear of failure of not doing enough often sends my brain spiralling down a few steep slope and I often find it difficult to find the calm after the storm.
