How do we live in this world ?

With this world always changing how do we stay up to date? I was born in a beautiful island the the Caribbean called Grenada. Oh how beautiful it is, and how proud I am of being Called a Grenadian. Grenada is called the spice isle of the Caribbean, because of all the spice we produce as a country. I was born and on February 20th 1985, the world back then was simple but great. it was what I will call the 1980s the bridge between the old times and this new age of living. The lifestyle is totally different now as I remember it to be, RESPECT is not as it was, LOVE is not as it was, TOGETHERNESS is not the same, RELIGION is not the same, SCHOOL is not the same, MUSIC is not the same. and the list goes on. My question is what brought about that drastic chance in this world? This is what I keep asking my self everyday, as I look back at my days growing up as a child and what it is now it had me confused, but then I realized some basic facts.

EXPOSURE;

We had less exposure to the things as people have these days , so when someone have an idea it is easier for the world to get a hold of that idea whether bad or good. People can now share what the like or dislike and get a great following because of technology. So all these movements whether good or bad for the world is now been broadcast by the click of a button, and spread like wild fire all across the world. No matter the content, the validity of the content, the intention of the content, or the effects the content will have. But we have to live with these advancements and the changes it brings to the world, whether good or bad. the price for progress is is very high.

TECHNOLOGY:

With the mass production of technology into this world we now have less physical activities that takes place on the outside. except for those who play sports in school. You see I grew up in a day and age when outside playing was our fun times we will spend most of our day playing outside from sun up to sun down. And it build friendship and we were healthy and it was fun a whole lot of fun. But when technology came everyone became selfish and it was no longer us but me, myself and I. Again the price that was paid for progress was and is still too high.

DRUGS, SEX, AND MONEY:

Yes I said it Drugs, sex, and money, with the introduction of the idolizing, the fame of using drugs, and being sexual and doing anything to get the paper. The world lost it principles that it use to be governed by. Everyone believe it is cool to be a drug user, having sex and making money by doing the two. So now we are at the stage in the world, where it is easier to be accepted for doing bad things, than doing good thing. because in most of the songs, and tv show now, is a praising the use drugs, killing others, having sex with multiple people.

CONCLUSION:

You see why to me it is hard to live in today's world, with all these changes. and I have not even touch all the changes that has happen and is still happen. hope you enjoy this writing, and got you think the same. look out for much more .
