Healing My Heartache
Mostly the part that hurts the most is how to even say thank you to those who you grew up with and lived with for so long. My heart aches each time I must consider the idea of giving thanks to the ones I knew since birth. What about the ones I knew when I was in school, and the loved ones I met throughout high school. Giving thanks to many of those who you have known has become an aching task where my heart breaks. I cannot even think about the idea of giving thanks to anyone of my past.

Gratitude: One of the Important Lessons from 2020
At the beginning of the pandemic, I did not feel thankful for anything. Facing the surreal reality of lockdown, social distancing, death, grief, trauma and anger did not fit into the gratitude category for me. I was nothing but unhappy, so that prevented my ability to be thankful for what I have in my life. I just didn't reveal the negative emotions I was facing, because I am tough as a cookie.

MS and the Pandemic
I was in the middle of ‘retirement’, moving, instructing kids who were new to remote learning, and entering another Texas summer. Like most years, the heat skipped the acclimation period and came in HOT, in what seemed like hours after a late season cool front, adding insult to injury. To say the least, MS had my number, and I was all but ready to wave my white flag.

So why the headline? When I started focusing on living my dreams I had a couple things out of whack. First was my thinking that most people were like me and I could help everybody the same. Second was thinking I needed to work on my businesses and hustle harder, to allow me more time to work on healing myself more. I knew I had desires to help others, a desire to feel good and share it with the world and so much more. What I didn't realize at the time, my biggest fears would raise up as soon as I took the leap to live a life I dream of.

Doors of Opportunity
If you follow the instructions given by The Law of Attraction, which can be found anywhere these days; (I personally enjoy the different YouTube videos people put out these days on this topic.) You will be told to create a vision board that holds all the things you wish to manifest into your life. You will be told to go to fancy stores as if you are already a millionaire and pick out what you will buy. You will be told to see within your minds eye the life you wish to lead. This in and of it's self will draw to you what your heart desires.

Thankful Thoughts
I am thankful for so much in my life. This year of 2020, has not been easy for any of us. Covid-19 put a halt to so many of my plans for this year. I am a holistic healer, a year into starting on this adventure of being a new business owner. Everything shut down and all the events I signed up for were cancelled do to social distancing guidelines. People walk around in fear of not knowing what is to come or when our NORMAL will come back to us. Loved one's lost to a unseen phantom who has nothing better to do then to prey on the weak. We do not know how to take it out, stopping it in it's tracks. We follow suggested guidelines in hopes that it helps while our medical world professionals work hard to find a cure or vaccine to protect us.
