Invalidation To Self Pity

But how can they be right? How can they be hurting me when I'm being hurt by them? How do I stop feeling so sad and angry all the time?

The issue of invalidating other people's feelings is a serious problem that can have a negative impact on the victims. Those people are those who are unable to empathize with others. They may do it because they don't want to deal with the situation, or they may be unaware of how their words can affect the person they are speaking to.

They may be able to understand that their actions are hurting someone else, but they don't feel the same way that the victim does. This is often because they themselves have not been hurt in the same way, or because they have never experienced a similar situation before.

Invalidating someone else's feelings is an act of aggression, and it's not something that should be taken lightly. It can lead to self pity, which is one of the most damaging emotions to experience in life.

When you invalidate someone's feelings, you are telling them that what happened was not as bad as it seemed. This can lead to feelings of self-pity on the part of the victim, who may then begin blaming themselves for their own pain instead of taking responsibility for their actions.

Invalidation can be both verbal and non-verbal, but it always has negative consequences for those who experience it. The victim of invalidation feels like they have no value or worth as a person and that their feelings don't matter, which can lead them to feel even worse about themselves and their life in general.

Invalidation also makes it more difficult for victims to speak up about their problems and seek help from others because they feel like there's no point in doing so because no one will believe them anyway.

If you've ever been on the receiving end of someone else's invalidation, it can feel like your heart is being ripped out of your chest. It can feel like you're a worthless person who doesn't deserve anything good in life. And it's not just because you're feeling bad about yourself; it's because you know that this person is right--that what they're doing is hurting someone else.

But how can they be right? How can they be hurting me when I'm being hurt by them? How do I stop feeling so sad and angry all the time?

The answer lies in understanding what invalidation is and why it happens: Invalidating someone else's feelings means making them feel like their emotions aren't valid or real--that they're just making things up or exaggerating things for attention sake. In other words, invalidation means telling someone that their feelings don't matter because these feelings are not true or authentic enough to count as real experiences within themselves.

When we invalidate someone else's feelings, we are saying that they don't matter, that they aren't valid, and that their emotions don't count as much as ours do. This can make them feel worthless and unworthy of being respected or cared about--and this can lead to depression and anxiety disorders as well as other mental health issues like PTSD or eating disorders.

This may seem like an obvious point when you think about it--but what does it mean for us? If we don't validate our friends' feelings when they're upset about something that happened between us two weeks ago (or even last week), then how will they ever trust us again? How will they ever trust themselves again? And how can we expect them to feel safe enough around us again if we're not showing up for them when things get difficult?

Always look out for yourself. Always ask yourself if what you’re going to say will hurt other people. If you think that what they feel is nothing, then don’t talk. Listen to them and try to understand them and empathize with them because at the end of the day, all people feel in different ways. It may be nothing to you but it may be too much
