God Sees You.

God sees us. He sees you. He hears you!

God sees you in your pain, confusion, and suffering.

But the beautiful truth is that God is El Roi, the God who sees you.

God is calling you to come into His presence and when you practice His presence, you will never be the same!

El Roi sees your heartache, He wants you to let Him walk with you through it and to remind you that He has a good plan for you, Jeremiah 29:11 (Karen O’Reilly)

Introduction. Continuing the theme on God’s names. El Roi — the God who sees you. In your pain and in times of desperation, El Roi sees you.

Scripture Reading: She [Hagar] gave this name to the Lord who spoke to her: “You are the God who sees me,” for she said, “I have now seen the One who sees me.” (Genesis 16:13, NIV)

Jesus Christ is El Roi, the God who sees you. Yes, Jesus Christ your Lord and your personal Savior sees you intimately, deeply and individually. As if to Jesus you are the only person on earth. Your needs Jesus sees, and your Lord tends to your wounds. You are so loved, and you are oh! so precious to Jesus. Your Lord, El Roi sees you and loves you as no other person does.

Jesus Christ, the Great Physician is the God who sees you. As you read God’s most Holy and most precious Word. His Gospels speak to you of El Roi. Christ Jesus as He loves and touches all those who cry out to Him. Tends to their deepest needs and their inner most wounds.

This article shows to you God, El Roi. How God deeply, intimately and personally loves you. The deepest recesses of your heart and your soul truly is where El Roi sees you. This is where God’s love and His healing power is required by you the most. El Roi sees. God sees, your heart. Jesus touches with His love and God’s power heals. Peace softly and sweetly seeps into your heart and into your soul. Such peace, such bliss and such love from El Roi.

Scripture Reading: Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you all. (2 Thessalonians 3:16, ESV)

We together will explore how El Roi sees to your needs, heartache, joy and gladness. Together we pray to Him and praise His most precious and Holy Name.

In times of desperation El Roi sees you. God really and truly sees you. Your Lord loves you deeply and cares for your daily needs.

When no one else cares. You cry out to El Roi. All alone in your darkness and lost. Utter desolation your only companion. You as did Hagar, the young servant girl of Sarah. You cry out to El Roi. You call out to God. Totally abandoned by all others. Nowhere else to turn. Malachi 3:6a, speaks to your heart with true reassurance. “I the Lord do not change.” The same God who saw Hagar’s desperation, sees you in your hour of sorrow.

Scripture Reading: The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the One and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. (John 1:14, NIV)

The wonder of Jesus’ salvation is that He still lives. Three days after Christ’s cruel and wicked crucifixion. God the Father miraculously gave Christ back His life. Jesus, God the Son rose from the dead. Death could not hold the Son of God.

Scripture Readings: But God raised Him from the dead, freeing Him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on Him. (Acts 2:24, NIV)

He is not here; He has risen! Remember how He told you, while He was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’ (Luke 24:6–7, NIV)

As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed.

Scripture Reading: “Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. (Mark 16:5–6, NIV)

The healing and touching love of Jesus.

Mark chapter nine speaks of a father who approaches Jesus with his son, possessed with demons and violently ill.

We bring our ill child and place her before the Great Physician. Jesus looks down upon His beloved child with eyes filled with divine compassion. For Jesus is El Roi the God who sees. Jesus sees into the heart of His child and into our hearts, her parents. Jesus sees and He loves.

Jesus reaches out His hand in love and asks. Do you believe I AM WHO I AM? Our answer is, yes. You are my Lord and my God, I believe. Jesus answers your faith has healed. Our child is healed.

Christ Jesus the Great Physician. Jesus, God the Son has acted in and with love. WHY? For He is God. God is love. El Roi could be no other way.

Scripture Reading: The Lord appeared to us in the past saying.

I have loved you with an everlasting love,

I have drawn you with unfailing kindness. (Jeremiah 31:3, NIV)

Such words of reassurance and love are these from Jeremiah. God the Heavenly Father’s love for you so deep and eternal. No matter where you turn to in in God’s Word. New Testament or Old. It is God’s love for you that you are reading.

Especially the Book of Psalms. Many a night I spend singing along with the Psalmists praising God in song and prayer. A line or two memorized to get me through the next day.

Jesus as He walked the dusty streets of Galilee. Touched people with His love and tender compassion. Jesus, El Roi saw into the hearts of all the people He met. The crowds crying out for His healing and tender compassion. Jesus’ closest friends, as they hung on His every word. The Pharisees as they conspired against Him. Even these Jesus loved.

Reading of Jesus in the Gospels. We witness the pure and sweet love of God in action. Jesus turns to you. El Roi, the God who sees turns to you. Such tender love you see. Jesus, El Roi, the God who sees turns to you.

You answer Jesus, yes, my Lord I believe. Oh! God my praise and my worship I give to you for the rest of my life. And for eternity. AMEN!

Scripture Reading: The Lord is close to the brokenhearted

and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

The righteous person may have many troubles,

but the Lord delivers him from them all,

He protects all his bones,

not one of them will be broken. (Psalm 34:18–20, NIV)

Conclusion. El Roi, the God Who Sees You, Loves and Cares. El Roi, the God who sees you, cares for all your daily needs.

  • Continuing the theme on God’s names. El Roi — the God who sees you. God cares and loves you and I enough to tend to our daily needs.
  • In times of desperation El Roi sees you. God really and truly sees you. He loves and cares for your daily needs. You cry out to El Roi when no one else cares. He listens and answers you plea.
