Spaghetti Shenanigans
Me and my two elder kids over dinner
I suppose we'll make spaghetti for dinner tonight.
Man, we're gonna eat spaghetti till next Sunday, alright! Sheesh
Oh, my! We’ll be eating spaghetti for the next forty days and forty nights!
She’s gonna make us eat spaghetti till the last noodle’s out of sight!
Spaghetti will be here until The Last Supper’s light.
My middle child lets out a long sigh.
Mom, seriously, do we have to do this again?
We could switch it up, try something new, now and then.
Spaghetti is simple, it’s quick, and you both love it, too.
My job is tough as it is, raising all of you.
But eating it nonstop, Mom, what are we gonna do?
We’ll dream of marinara, TJ, it’s all we’ll see and taste.
And by next week, all our energy will have gone to waste.
We’ll be the kings and queens of pasta, crowned with noodles, it’s our fate. Hm?
Our life will be a red sauce river, forever and ever. We won’t escape this plate.
Mom, you know we love you, but this is quite a plight. What about my veggies diet?
I roll my eyes again... (I've been laughing for the past 45 minutes, it's been quite a night!)
