Summer Solstice, Inner Light

Inspired by nature and our love

one sacred flame,

ignites beneath the skin, hot to the touch,

whispers of forgotten dawns,

hushshsh hushshsh

their echoes rise from the marrow’s edge

we breathe in deeply, longingly,

an alchemy of self, illusionary

and unpredictable.

anew.

breathe in, breathe out,

sinew

bone

pulse

rhythm of life, and sound.

do you feel me?

do you feel the earth?

our spirit and body, they both converge,

and submerge

we feel the surge of soft senses.

across continents of inner landscapes

fractures mend to create and

communicate.

oh! solstice sun!

how I feel your petals open wide

iris mirroring into the ancestry of the divine,

pure light.

i look at you, my love,

into the depths of your eyes

revealing stories of a

silent communion,

a most desired reunion.

the voice of nature, pure,

i hear it through my pores,

my throat hums the melody of our earth

feeling deeply, yet again,

the harmony of your touch.

see the celestial paths cradling our essence,

we are a major constellations of multiplied senses.

beneath the skies, together complete,

we unearth our truths, we see our souls

mirrored in each other's eyes, above

and below.

ooooooh sighing deeply

maple wings flow, and fly around us,

into a mesmerizing spiral

of rebirth and change.

crossing together the solstice threshold

we see its silent reflections

our thoughts becoming clearer than morning dew

let's embrace the light's warmth

hoping to remember all the colorful hues.

seeping through, the reds of this life,

iron in blood

crimson is woven by nature, slowly,

into the veins of this world,

ours to be if we allow it.

we taste the earth in every inhale

aaaaaaaah ooooooooooh

touching your sunlit skin, I feel bathed in gold

a radiance supreme, into the twilight's glow.

the night shines above us,

with the solstice moon’s light

a cradle for the life’s ebb and flow

I long for the ocean’s embrace,

and skies full of star-studded dreams.

we rest here, on the beach,

below us the sand, stones, and shells

sunkissed, the sea of love around us,

we are dreaming of renewal of our spirit and self

oh, summer solstice! you bring so much faith!
