The Man on the Moon
Everyday the man on the moon wake's up and watches the earth, dreaming of someday returning. He was sent to the moon on a top secret mission to analyze it's material and explore it's surface. The mission was supposed to last two months, it's now been six years since he departed from earth. All communication went down after three weeks and the rocket didn't start up after the two months. The team back on earth completely forgot about the mission. Now the man on the moon spends his days watching earth.
It all started while Paul was walking down the sidewalk towards the beach. First, he saw a couple of cats dealing drugs down an alley way, then three clowns rode by on unicycle's juggling jars of peanut butter while singing "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey.
He sat comfortably in his office chair staring eagerly at the blank page. There was a creative challenge to craft a captivating, thought-provoking micro-fiction story on Vocal. Since his childhood years, he dreamt of being the most intriguing writer of the twenty-first century. He enjoyed reading stories in many different genre's during his adolescent years, spending time practicing his writing by creating fan-fiction novels and jotting down personal journal entries. However, he just couldn't conjure an idea today. A simple story is all he had to create. A captivating micro-fiction with less than one hundred words. Is it even possible?
