Spring Clean the Body With: Papaya Seeds
Papaya seeds. Why you should eat these potent little mother f*ckers. Papaya seeds are often just the “gross” insides we throw away to eat that delicious super fruit or meat of the actual Papaya itself. However, BOTH are highly beneficial for us.

Scroll down for the video! Hey, human, kings, and queens! You guys have told me about specific areas you want to target, and that you're enjoying the workout videos! I aim to please. If you missed my ab circuit and my explanations about spot reduction, you can revisit that post here. Now, here's a lower body routine I put together based on comments I've received. I've designed this routine to target those muscles in your stubborn midsection area. This routine is high intensity and low impact. Meaning there is no jumping movements, but the movements will have your heart-rate up and you will struggle to finish the reps/seconds. Power through it and burn the fat! This routine is based on core strength and leg work using pilates-style moves and body weight. This routine will also be great for those of you that have a bad back, bad or weak knees, hips, and/or ankles!

Katana HaleyPublished 6 years ago in LongevityWhat Is Dyscalculia & Could You Have It?
You have probably heard of the learning disability "Dyslexia," but its close cousin Dyscalculia rarely comes up in conversation. Despite its low-profile reputation, the disorder is actually quite common—statistics show that approximately 3-6 percent of school children suffer from Dyscalculia, with it resulting in being the leading cause of 5-8 percent of mathematical difficulties.

So… There’s Something I Need to Tell You
One of the most violent elements within our society is ignorance. It has the capacity to shape generations, to stir cultural prejudice, and to create fear and discrimination at the expense of those without a voice. The rise of HIV and AIDS in the 1970s, at a time when little was understood about this forthcoming pandemic, gave birth to fear and recriminations against the homosexual communities and drug users. These sub-groups were the perfect target into which society could pour their fears and distrust. These communities were seen to be the corrupting influence of acceptable social norms and became the reason for this associated disease, and so stigma towards sufferers began to take root.
Chris O'HanlonPublished 6 years ago in LongevityIs it Better to Work Out in the Morning or Afternoon?
The other day I was having a conversation with a good friend of mine who is an early riser. She enjoys waking up early, going for a run, and having a nice breakfast before heading to work in the morning. Her alarm is set for five AM every morning to accommodate for her morning routine, which occasionally includes a yoga class or some quality time in the gym instead of on a run. Naturally, as a night owl myself, I was curious to know if there were really any real benefits to going to the gym so early in the morning because, really, why else would someone want to wake up so early in the morning?! I was surprised to learn a few great pros and cons to both cases. Take a look.

I’ve gone back and forth with myself about whether to write this or not, when I was given the subject I was excited. But I very quickly reclined and have been putting it off for over a month now. The reason? I don’t want the backlash that comes from it. Isn’t that funny? I can write openly about my sex life and intimate details of my relationship, but I am worried about the backlash from writing about what I choose to eat?!
Samantha BentleyPublished 6 years ago in LongevityI Tried the "One Punch Man" Workout for a Week
100 Push Ups. 100 Sit Ups. 100 Squats. 10 Kilometer Run. EVERY. DAY. These are the workout guidelines for Saitama (AKA One Punch Man) the bald protagonist of One Punch Man, who wields godlike powers that allow him to destroy virtually any enemy, in especially violent fashion, with a single punch. Created by the mysterious manga author ONE, One Punch Man is a satirical take on the cliches of popular superhero manga like Dragon Ball Z and Naruto. Despite the original intent of parody, One Punch Man has found a surge of popularity that has launched it to the same Triple-A status as the titles it satirizes, complete with its own anime series streaming on Netflix. For those familiar with the lore, Saitama is an average looking, bald man who might just be the most powerful being in the universe, thanks to his trusty regimen of 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats, and a 10 km run every day for 3 years WITHOUT REST. Allegedly, this workout routine can give you the power to fight androids, cyborg animals, monsters, space aliens, kaiju, and other colossal titans with just ONE PUNCH. I decided to try it for a week and see if this routine could help me give Goku a run for his money (That's a Dragon Ball Z reference for those of you who aren't nerdy), and this is what happened.
Daniel Sosa-PorterPublished 6 years ago in LongevityHow to Eat: IIFYM
Also known as macro-counting, this dieting practice requires a more in-depth understanding of your food than most other diets. With this technique, you figure out your nutritional requirements —based on your goals, activity level, etc.—and work your meals into those numbers. It has many wonderful aspects, not the least of which is that it’s more flexible than other “diets.” However, like all great things, it has aspects which some may find distasteful (ie, math).

Erika PotapPublished 6 years ago in LongevityHow to Begin Your Meditation Practice for the New Year
As the end of the year approaches, many of us are thinking of New Year’s Resolutions or ways in which we can make our next year better. We look at things we want to change and things that we want to make better. We are always looking to the outside, to the world, when we should be looking inward. We should be looking to ourselves. One of the best things to help us find this new path is meditation.
