Treat Your Body Like a Temple: The Importance of Food
Food plays such an important role in our lives. It obviously nourishes us when we are hungry. Moreover, it connects us all to each other. Food is the great equalizer! So you may be thinking, “Okay… this is a blog about spirituality. Why are we discussing food?” Well, be patient! I’m getting to it!
New Age Thoughts ChicagoPublished 6 years ago in LongevityGhosts and Astral Projection
New Age is a form of spirituality with a focus on the well being of the mind, body and spirit. However, there is a form of esotericism that is involved. Many New Agers start to perform different rituals and deal with different forms of occultism. What many people are not aware of is that within the word “spirituality,” the word spirit is the root word there. Whenever you decide that you want to do any type of ritual, prayer, or invoking ceremony be aware that spirits are all around you. Like the movie Insidious said, “If you call out to one of the dead. All of them can hear you.” So do not take invocation lightly. You can invoke when playing different spirit games like the Ouija board, when using pendulums, automatic writing and dowsing rods. No matter what you decide to do, just be aware that you can end up with someone or something that you don’t want coming around. Now I’m not saying, “Don’t do these things because it’s bad.” On the contrary, all of these things are tools to be used when you are ready and have done extensive reading and training. With that being said, I want to talk about three different types of spirits.

Lately, my dreams have been the most vivid they have been in years. I wake up each morning feeling as if I have just had an entire expedition, adventure, or even tragedy. I can't help but think that the extremes of my dreams correlate to my day by day life.
Julia FisherPublished 6 years ago in LongevityHow To Really Interpret Your Dreams
We all have dreams, and we have all awoken wondering what a dream was trying to tell us. Is something bad going to happen? Was this a message from a departed loved one? Dreams may reveal many things to us including a memory of our past lives, a glimpse at our future, and communication between our unconscious and our conscious mind. The key to unlocking the secrets of your dreams lies within your own emotional response, engagement of your physical senses, and the point of view of your dream.
Embracing You
I am going to be completely honest with you. I am not a professional in the matter in which I am speaking of. I am simply a person who opened his mind and embraced what made him the person he is today.

As I awoke from a cold sweat at 2:22 in the morning, I thought.. there’s definitely more going on with me than just the flu. “Is this what it feels like to lose your mind?” Little did I know, it was the beginning of my Spiritual Awakening.

The world is filled with so many different religions and they all claim to be the only path to save your soul. Just the mere thought of that is very intimidating. Trying to choose which path is the one for our spiritual salvation is even scarier. The simple choices we face in our everyday lives, such as trying to find something to eat can be extremely complicated. To simplify it for ourselves we ask a series of questions, “do I want fast food, pizza, or should I cook at home?” When we struggle with a choice so simple such a food, why would choosing a religion be simple? We don’t have the same simple questions to ask ourselves because each religion varies tremendously. With all of that being said. You should take some comfort that you are not alone. There are millions of people who have no idea where to place their faith.
New Age Thoughts ChicagoPublished 6 years ago in LongevityFinding Spirituality Through Working Out
First things first, I am not a religious person. I was not born in a religious family; in fact, my parents are generally atheist. The concept of a higher force was pretty much vague and at times even illusory to me — hard not to think so when religion has been meddling so much with politics and power since its start till this day.
My Journey into Spiritual Awakening
I am a sensitive person, and for most of my life I have been looking for something that has been missing, I couldn’t put my finger on it, but I just felt like there was more to life spiritually than what I had been taught.
Jenny BurnsPublished 6 years ago in Longevity5 Ways to Raise Your Vibration
First off, let's take a look at what your "vibration" actually is, and talk about why you would want to raise it. So, your vibration is essentially your personal energy frequency. It is a result of every single thought you have ever had and everything you have ever done. Think of it like a radio frequency if you tune in to one channel you get everything on that channel. With that being said, if you have a lower vibration, you are more likely to encounter negativity rather than positivity, whereas if you have a higher vibration you will more than likely attract positivity. Now, obviously no one wants to attract negativity into their lives, and this is why you should definitely work on raising your vibration. So without further ado, here are five ways that you can raise your vibration!

Who you are is not the Rolex on your wrist nor the Bentley that you ride. Your essence is not the love of sexual desires nor the worshiping of mortal objects. These material substances are temporary to who you truly are—an infinite immortal soul who is already perfect and complete. You are not at fault, for this is the only life you ever knew.

Spirituality can come in many ways, shapes and forms. It really depends on who the person is and how much they are in touch with their soul. I believe spirituality can come in the form of religion, believing in the other side or exploring one's aura or chakras.
