Misconceptions Around Tarot - Debunked!
In the mainstream Tarot community, there are a lot of dos and don’ts. And I’ll be honest, a lot of them I don’t listen to. They’ve never worked for me, and I think it just creates energetic clutter when I try to follow those rules. Interestingly, you find people who are tarot readers and people who are oracle card readers, but not both.

Free Reading #5 for 2021 Mirror Dragon Tarot
Each week when I do these readings I set up my reading space with black fabric, (for the photo, mostly but it also allows for and smooth, calm space to focus on the cards) make sure I have undisturbed quiet time; dogs are out, husband is at work/play/store/whatever, phone is off, etc… I begin with a quick grounding meditation and settle into a centered peace to ask for guidance in choosing the cards which will be most appropriate for the week ahead. I shuffle the cards with my intent in mind and spread them in a dealer’s “ribbon spread”. Then with eyes closed, I ask for the Center card, the West card and finally, the East card, reaching out to the spread, touching the cards and choosing the one that feels most fully under my finger tip, then sliding them into their positions. Before opening my eyes I return to a calm, centered state and do my best to sense whether the three cards I’ve chosen are the most fitting for the highest and best for all involved. Only then do I turn them face up and photograph them for the reading. There are times when I see the three cards before me and groan or breathe a sigh of relief but I always use the cards I’ve selected ”blindly”.

Is Intelligence at Odds With Wisdom?
There is a mysticism surrounding the concept of wisdom. Yet, wisdom wherever manifest seems to be simply knowledge. How else is it gained through things like life-experience? The effect of this knowledge is that it is applicable in every situation of general understanding: It is marked by general application, not technicality or specificity. Though one must be exceedingly intelligent to become an ophthalmologist, they mustn’t necessarily gain wisdom, for the information required for this profession isn’t relevant to life at large.

Numerology According to Everyone
Here is a list of some numbers and what they mean to me and the general populace of earth. This list is by no means complete. It is just a concise list of what I have come across continuously in my years on this planet. I find numbers generally interesting, but this is a relatively new spin of the meanings behind some of them as either religious, spiritual, or otherwise tools. As a means of explaining things.

Perfectly Imperfect
This article states tarot/oracle but I hope that the exercises can be useful for any chosen divination method. People get their decks from many different places, sometimes they are a gift, sometimes they yell at you from the store shelves. All forms are valid, I have no desire to gatekeep how you acquire your divination tools. As Scott Cunningham said: “Do what feels right.”

why i chose witchcraft
Growing up, it was hard. Life was hard. Being a tad overweight, confused about who I was, and what I wanted out of life. It was hard. I was angry, I was hurting, and confused. I was finding myself constantly in a state of stress, and at the time, I internalized all of it. I struggled with self-esteem, bullying, hating the place where I grew up, blaming everything and everyone for the way I handled the world around me. There was no understanding on my part, it was all black and white. Either I loved someone, a friend or family member, or I hated them to the core of my being. It was extremes, in my emotions, my opinions, my interpersonal relationships. And in those extremes, I made a lot of mistakes.
