Reiki Healing And The Multiple Benefits That It Offers
Reiki healing is not a new concept; in fact, it has been in practice for quite some time now. Nowadays, it has even started growing in popularity as more and more people are trying Reiki healing. Reiki healing is a type of alternative therapy. It is a Japanese energy healing technique, which is commonly referred to as energy healing. Energy healing has been around for centuries now and is certainly not a new concept.

By Design
"What is my purpose?!" I shouted to the Universe. In desperate times, I find myself stuck in a moment of solitude and replacing rational thought with faith. As humbly as I could, this time, I continued to speak out loud to the Universe and explain my pain.

Dukha and My Suffering
The pessimism of life relates to how the only consistent thing we humans go through is suffering. Every human being indulges in some sort of suffering. Whether it be an illness, divorce, death, etc., it is the only constant thing in life. I believe “dukkha” (meaning suffering in Pali) is something easily obtained, however, it is harder to escape it. Suffering only comes from “trsna” or thirst for objects of existence and non-existence. Thirst is something all humans have, we thirst to be loved, we thirst for success, we thirst for concepts that are not even tangible. Such a thirst leads to inevitable loss. And how do we get rid of such a thirst? We must let go.

Free Reading #7 for 2021 Mirror Dragon Tarot
Reading for 2-15 thru 2-21-21 Each week when I do these readings I set up my reading space with black fabric, (for the photo, mostly but it also allows for and smooth, calm space to focus on the cards) make sure I have undisturbed quiet time; dogs are out, husband is at work/play/store/whatever, phone is off, etc… I begin with a quick grounding meditation and settle into a centered peace to ask for guidance in choosing the cards which will be most appropriate for the week ahead. I shuffle the cards with my intent in mind and spread them in a dealer’s “ribbon spread”. Then with eyes closed, I ask for the Center card, the West card and finally, the East card, reaching out to the spread, touching the cards and choosing the one that feels most fully under my finger tip, then sliding them into their positions. Before opening my eyes I return to a calm, centered state and do my best to sense whether the three cards I’ve chosen are the most fitting for the highest and best for all involved. Only then do I turn them face up and photograph them for the reading. There are times when I see the three cards before me and groan or breathe a sigh of relief but I always use the cards I’ve selected ”blindly”.

The HoodooLady
Humanity seems to have lost touch with that which is truly important - the inner wisdom, intuition, and ability to create the reality that we REALLY want and the lives that we are meant to live. We have been numbed and dumbed down by society, by the technology that has taken over our lives and interrupted our connection with that higher source that begs us to pay attention to what it is trying to tell us. We have forgotten how to listen to what we instinctively know deep within.

Ethics of Empathy
Empaths can in their most basic sense feel the energy around them. The easiest energy to read is other people. Empath has become a “cringe word” for me in the new age community. Even as I personally identify as an empath, I dislike the usage. It has become synonymous with victim. The articles of how to manage being overwhelmed. How we are all destined to be abused. How we must tolerate our lot in life because we are such special beings of light. Earth angels in the flesh. They do a disservice to us and to the magickal community at large. So, I decided to break it down, this is my opinion. You can agree or disagree hopefully it gives you food for thought and starts a discussion.

What You Read in the Akashic Records
Most of us are aware that the Akasha holds a great deal of information. One of the benefits of other, higher dimensions is that time is not linear and there’s no one way to do things. While the Akashic Records can be personal and allow us to read our soul’s history to uncover and unlock our fears, beliefs and patterns of behaviour that have followed us throughout time, there is a lot more you can do with the Akashic Records than just read your own soul.

Just What is Tarot, Anyway?
Tarot is a cartomancy system. Simply put, the Tarot is a deck of cards used for divination. Not all divination systems are Tarot. It is a set system with specific parameters. If a divination deck does not adhere to the parameters of Tarot, it is either some other set system, like Lenormand, or it is a stand-alone oracle deck.
