Nothing Wrong Nothing Missing!

Why I Resisted

Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you know you need to make a change, but for some reason, you just can't seem to do it? Maybe you've been meaning to exercise more, eat healthier, or save money, but old habits die hard and changing feels like too much work. In fact, there's a scientific reason why we resist change, even when we know it's good for us.

For a long time, I resisted change. Whenever something new came along, I would dig my heels in and refuse to budge. I told myself that there was nothing wrong or missing in my life, and that I was perfectly happy with the way things were. Of course, I was only fooling myself. I was in denial and chose comfort over growth.

But eventually, I reached a point where I could no longer ignore the unrest I felt inside. I realized that if I wanted to live a fulfilling life, I needed to start embracing change instead of running from it. Here's how I did it.

Identify the areas of your life that need change.

The first step is to take a good, hard look at your life and identify the areas that need improvement. This can be tough to do because it requires you to be honest with yourself about your shortcomings. But trust me, it's worth it. Once you know what needs to change, you can begin taking steps to change it.

2.Educate yourself on the benefits of change.

Once you've identified the areas of your life that need to change, it's time to educate yourself on the benefits of making those changes. Change can be scary, but it can also be incredibly rewarding. When you understand why a certain change is necessary, it becomes easier to make that change.

3.Make a plan for implementing change.

After you've identified the areas of your life that need to change and educated yourself on the benefits of making those changes, it's time to make a plan for actually implementing those changes. This step is important because it gives you a roadmap to follow as you work towards making the changes you desire.

4. Start small.

One of the best pieces of advice I ever received was to start small when trying to embrace change. That means picking one area of your life to focus on at a time and slowly making incremental changes until you reach your goal.

"Trying to tackle too many changes at once is overwhelming and often leads to failure. But by taking small steps, you increase your chances of success - and eventually reaching your goal."

Change is inevitable. Whether we like it or not, things are constantly changing around us. The world is evolving and if we want to keep up, we need to evolve with it. Change can be scary, but it can also be exciting. It's an opportunity to try something new, step out of our comfort zones, and learn more about who we are and what we want in life.

Resisting Change Holds Us Back

When we resist change, we're actually holding ourselves back. We're preventing ourselves from experiencing new things and growing as individuals. If we're never open to change, we'll never know what we're capable of or what life has to offer. Instead of resisting change, Embrace it! See it as an opportunity to grow and learn. After all, isn't that what life is all about?

Making lasting changes in our lives is never easy, but it's definitely possible if you understand why you resist change and take steps to overcome that resistance.  Remember that discomfort is only temporary and that the long-term benefits of making positive changes in your life are always worth the effort. So don't give up - keep moving forward one step at a time until you reach your goal!
