More like dark and light

Every decision you make in life will lead you towards either short-term happiness or long-term happiness.

Short-term happiness occurs when you source happiness outside of you, but happiness is an emotion that comes from inside. Cultivating long-term happiness requires going inside, and we can do this by sitting with ourselves and silencing the mind’s chatter.

We are spiritual beings, some refer to it as a soul, spirit, or life force, inside physical bodies living in a physical world. That energy inside of us is either vibrating at a high frequency or a low frequency.

There are spiritual beings outside of this physical existence and they also vibrate at either a high frequency or a low frequency. Depending on our vibe, higher beings and lower beings can connect with us.

Happiness is an uplifting emotion, and when we are operate out of happiness we vibrate at a high frequency which brings us closer to higher beings. Where God resides. Where love resides. Where the light is because the more epiphanies we have the more enlightened we become and the higher we ascend.

Emotions that have a high frequency are feelings of love, joy, gratitude, excitement, happiness, etc., and are often referred to as high-vibe. Emotions that have a low frequency are feelings of sadness, anger, jealousy, depression, etc., and these are often referred to as low-vibe. High-vibe emotions feel light as though we’re walking on air. Low-vibe emotions feel heavy and visibly pull us down. When we are operate out of low-vibe emotions it brings us closer to lower beings.

All the things we reach for outside of us to make us happy in the moment eventually become the things we use to quell feelings of emptiness, boredom, restlessness, or to escape our current reality. These pathways to short-term happiness can lead to ill-effects on our mental, physical, and emotional health. Examples of this are addictions and health problems.

When we put the work into long-term happiness we are slowly heading towards the light, and every decision we make keeps us on or takes us away from this path. There are points in life when we’re submerged in darkness. We don’t even know there is light, and in that case we don’t know we’re in darkness. Higher beings and lower beings do their work through people to either spread or diminish light. Those of us who are guided to the light also know it’s now our job to spread the light.

Lower beings provoke negative emotions within us to influence our thoughts, words, and behaviour. They trigger parts of us that need healing. If we are unaware of what needs healing within us, then we are unaware when we make decisions based in them. For example, we have all made decisions in life that were based in fear. Fear of the unknown can steer us towards short-term happiness. Healing all of our unhealed parts is required to cultivate long-term happiness.

Lower beings are smart and powerful forces not to be underestimated. They know seeds can be easily planted in our heads. Seeds grow into thoughts, which affect our belief systems.

Social media provides a lot of access to our minds. One person can speak a thought that arises from an unhealed place and it has the potential to reach a lot of other minds. It’s important to be discerning with whom we take advice from. People may have your best intentions at heart, but are they truly happy? Are they someone you admire or want to be like? Do they lead a life that inspires you? Once we truly understand that everything around us influences us then we realize how sacred our mind space is.

It is well to have as many holds upon happiness as possible
