friendship
C.S Lewis got it right: friendship is born when one person says to another: "What! You too? I thought I was the only one!"
Married and straight life man gets in love with straight best mate
Last years wasn't easy, I got to the point I was exhausted and needed some support. I wasn't finding the right way to ask for help cause for my whole life I was fearing being considered weak, or irresponsible as man, husband and father.

To Our Mutual "Friends"
Our Friday nights at church were something I always held dear to my heart. Church was my safe place. I looked forward every week to catching up with all of you and finding out what was going on in each of your lives. He was there too; my ex I mean.

Midnight Snack
It was winter break and I had flown back from Colorado for a few weeks. There was a short winter session, but I had been sick with mononucleosis for almost all of my first semester of college and was completely burnt out on school. The winter session wasn’t required, so I decided to spend the whole break at home in California. On the morning on which I flew back, there was a heavy blizzard and several feet of snow were dumped around Colorado Springs. The airport was packed and all the flights delayed. I was splitting a taxi with another Bay Area local whom I’d met during my short stint on the college swim team. The snow was so deep that the taxi was late but with the severe delays at the airport, we made perfect time to catch our flight back to San Francisco.

The Survivors
Albert sat alone at a table, staring at an old black-and-white photograph. Fifteen faces stared back at him, one of them his own. Fifteen haunted faces and eyes that spoke of fear, suffering and loss. He sighed and folded the picture in half with great care and put it in his wallet.

24/7 Friends
It was a dark and stormy night... Just kidding. It actually was a relatively normal night. The clouds were still golden from the after waves of the sunset, a honey hue with pink tendrils floating off on distant clouds. I walked along, like I always did, with my white beat-up Converse, a band tee, and ripped jeans. The jeans hadn't always been ripped but working with all the cars at dad's shop had done my knees in. The concrete under my feet felt nice, a solid footing. I was meeting up with my childhood best friend Chucky, apparently, he needed to talk.
