Chapter IV Sneak Peak: It's Not That Serious
Excerpt from Chapter IV of It’s Not That Serious ~~~~~~~~ Danny was tired of thinking so much and so hard. He was ready to go out with his best friend and listen to some meaningful poetry and lyrics from people with substance. Danny boy even did some writing of his own at times, but he was always too apprehensive to share this side of himself with the world. Not even his wela read any of his writing. This was a side of Danny that he had to keep for himself. Still, he loved watching other people express their pain, joy, anger, frustration, and peace, because it gave him a sense of purpose in the world. He felt like, when he listened to others perform their poetry or their music, it was his way of contributing to society in a healthy way. In his eyes, people who shared these talents with the world didn’t do it for themselves. They did it with the sole purpose of making others feel.

9 Things Not to do during your Courtship
Courtship is the period of great importance for the couples as it helps them set the right foundation for their marriage. In most cultures, the courtship period starts when a couple is engaged or decides to see each other for the purpose of marriage. A good marriage depends, in large part, on a good courtship, where a couple makes good use of the time that they get to know each other.

The Wickedness of Chance
Her beguiling presence captured me instantly. Had I not turned back, things might have been different. Maybe they wouldn’t. Was it instinct or pure chance. So wrong, but so right. She was a blinding light. A shining beacon. Yet, the darkness that engulfed souls and caused ships to plunge to the murkiest of depths. From that first moment I was caught in her web.

Being in a Relationship Makes Your Life Easier, it's Called Couple Privilege
Couple privilege exists in our society because we live in a culture that values romantic relationships as a default. I recently got out of a four-year-long relationship, during that time I saw the myriad of ways in which we privilege couples over single folks.

Men are dogs
Why do men think it is ok to treat women so badly? They make you believe that you are the only one for them and that they will treat you like a queen. Everything is good for the first few months but then that is when they start to show you who they really are. Take my ex for example, he would tell me he loves me and can't wait to marry me and then he was cheating on my the whole entire time. We were on and off since 2012 and he was with me and 10+ other women. Honey if they are working late and they are not answering there phones or calling you, they are cheating. Maybe you have one of the good ones. But with my experience men are just the worst. He couldn't hold a job and I was the only one paying the bills and taking care of mine and his kids. That was 5 kids at the time and I had to do everything by myself. He would tell me he was going fishing and that he was going to be out till 4 am. Well little did I know he was at a bar and met this girl there. We both ended up working in a hotel together and he literally slept with another girl in a hotel room. Like who does this? Let alone with 6+ other girls at the time. But I stayed for the longest time because I believed all of his stories and everything he ever told me. I was a doormat. He only used me when he needed me. I took care of our kids, paid all the bills and made sure we had food to eat. He manipulated me for years and I believed every single word. Whats so bad about a women wanting to settle down in a relationship? Why can't these grown men stop playing games, get off there butts and treat a lady how she should be treated. Why is that so hard?

Does Your Boyfriend Really Love You?
Lighthearted comedies regularly cause it to seem like you can possibly realize your beau loves you on the off chance that he pulls off a great motion, such as remaining under your window with a boombox or singing a heartfelt melody on the grandstands before the entire soccer group.

I'll Learn My Lesson
How did my plan backfire so horribly? I had her right in my hand, I could feel it. I was doing everything right, but somehow, my plan failed. Why? Let me think about what happened for a second. Maybe then, I’ll be able to figure out what went wrong. Earlier today, I decided to ask my crush, Jennifer, out for lunch this weekend… or coffee or maybe a walk in the park, I couldn’t quite decide. I talked to my friend, Malcolm, about doing this, and he thought that was a terrible idea.

Autism, Love, and Friendship
As I have written in a previous article, "Can Autistic People Find Love?", you probably know that I am a single on the Autism spectrum. The question, "Can Autistic people find love?" was answered with, "Yes, Autistic people can find love." And wouldn't you know, that the matter of how, exactly, is still unknown. This is not very much talked about, and we need to address this issue.

The Man of my Dreams
The warm salty breeze cools my perfectly tanned skin. Before me, a plate of taco carnitas and all the fixings, laid out in colorful handmade bowls. A white tablecloth waves gently, the palm trees rustling above my parasol, the rhythmic swoosh of the ocean make me feel relaxed and incredibly at ease. A bit elated, even!

Moments Series
While enjoying our wine, the waiter returns with a family style salad dressed in homemade Italian dressing, which was delicious. A minute later another waiter stops at our table to give us, quite possibly, the most amazing homemade Italian bread I have ever had. It’s still warm so the butter melts as soon as the knife touches the bread. While we savor the salad and bread, probably eating more than we should have, I remark, “So, Landon, other than the fact that you collect comic books and love my favorite coffee house, I don’t know much about you.”
