dating
All about dating. First dates, three years into a relationship, Tinder, and more.
Find Another Pond
Dating is supposed to be fun but somehow we’ve turned it into a stressful and frustrating event. Have you noticed a pattern? Are you stuck with the same type of person over and over again expecting something different? Have you given up hope on finding love? Well maybe it is time to fish in another pond. Stop going after the same qualities as the last while expecting a different outcome–that, my friend, is the definition of insanity! Go after a someone who is opposite from what you’re used to. This will give you an opportunity to see what the world has to offer.

Asking and Explaining
We know that infidelity often results in breakups, divorces and social stigmatization. Western society has frowned upon straying from one’s intimate partner, from the widespread reproach of public figures such as former president Bill Clinton, presidential hopeful John Edwards, actress Kristen Stewart, and professional golfer Tiger Woods, among others. Indeed, partner’s betrayal makes for great emotional upset, perpetuating verbal and even physical abuse. What exactly drives people to cheat? It’s worth examining the literature on people’s reactions and ways of addressing infidelity across genders, social status, and age. Further, cheating may be motivated by fulfillment of needs, the desire for self-growth, and different personality types.

Is a Sense of Humor Key to a Successful Relationship?
A sense of humor often seems to be one of the most important elements of a romantic relationship. So often, when someone is asked why they love their partner, they will reply with a shrug, and just say "He makes me laugh." That's all that is needed for the romantic floodgates to open.

Why Millennials Can't (Won't) Commit
Nothing ever seems to be quite as painful as wanting a potential partner to commit, only to be met with excuses, awkward silences, or straight up rejection. As painful as it is, it's extremely common in the Millennial dating scene – and it's getting increasingly more common every single day.

Signs a Man Is Emotionally Attached to You
It's very easy to figure out whether a girl has gotten emotionally attached to a guy. As women, we tend to wear our hearts on our sleeves and pride ourselves on being open books. Men, on the other hand, tend to try to hide their feelings for as long as they can.

I've Stopped Trying to Forget
I left the house at dusk and watched the bugs hover in the thick mist, illuminated like stars. Sam met me where my dad's bike was chained to a stop sign near the edge of the woods and we walked hand in hand on the old trail. An evening breeze picked its way through tahe overgrown weeds and tossed wet, summer leaves over our muddy feet and between our bodies that brushed against each other as we avoided fallen trees and dark puddles.

If Asian Dating Is Your Persuasion, Single and the City Should Be Your Thing
A few years ago, I was friended by one Amber Guesa on Facebook. She runs a social dating site called SingleAndTheCity. I looked at the pictures on her page, and I was quite intrigued. But I never raised enough impetus to actually elevate my aspirations and attend one of her parties. Grounded to yet another boring weekend in Westchester, Amber personally invited me to an event that I could not be persuaded to miss.

Relationship Mistakes Men are Prone to Make. Top Story - March 2017.
Relationships for whatever reason tend to be a difficult subject matter for men. Maybe it's society's stigma on men emoting and feeling out their personalities that keep an entire gender from exploring the intimate elements of the relationship. Maybe these problems are not specifically male issues, but issues people have with relationships in general.
