Is "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." the Best Comedy of All Time?: A Discussion
Guy Ritchie’s 2015 action/adventure (more like comedy/espionage/action) film is another classic, “smart” funny film, based on the 1964 television series. The Man from U.N.C.L.E. requires attention to script, facial expressions, and detail, but trust me when I say it’s worth all that attention! Plus, the score keeps you on your toes, focused, and eager for more – so it should be an easy task you distracted folks! Focusing on how jokes and clever the script for this film is, the astounding character development our guy Guy Ritchie is known for, and the plot twist finale that that gets even the better of you, my blog and I are delighted to serve this multi-layered cake with all its crazy flavours, to you! That said, welcome to the height of the Cold War, 1963!
Review of 'Shadow in the Empire of Light'
A magical novel of intrigue, mystery and family drama from the award-winning author of Aramaya and Fire Angels! Magic. Murder. Mayhem. But keep it in the family. Shine's life is usually dull: an orphan without magic in a family of powerful mages, she's left to run the family estate with only an eccentric aunt and telepathic cat for company. But when the family descend on the house for the annual Fertility Festival, Shine is plunged into dark intrigue; stolen letters, a fugitive spy, and family drama mix with murder, sex and secrets, and Shine is forced to decide both her loyalties and future...

Made Happy? It's hard to avoid hyperbole when discussing Bo Burnham. After gaining notability through YouTube in 2006, now he disappears for years at a time before releasing a major project. However, every time he releases something, it sends out shockwaves. The first film he has written and directed, Eighth Grade, received widespread acclaim. His most recent offering, Inside, has been nominated for six Emmys. As a longtime fan of Burnham's work, I think he deserves all of this praise and more, but these waves of interest cause people to take parts of his creative output out of context, as they may not have heard of Burnham until whatever most recently put him at the center of cultural discourse. Because of that, important aspects of Inside are being overlooked, particularly in the relationship Burnham creates between the artist and audience.

Do I even want to review this movie? How do you even do that? Is this film the “enjoyable slam dunk” the title of this review offers? Man, I don’t even know.

Opening with Hayley Kiyoko’s Demons, Lamentis, is a mesmerizing spectacle with adrenaline-fueled fisticuffs, a deluge of hilarious repartees, and most importantly, a lesson on love. Yes, you heard me right. After all, isn’t love the only thing that transcends time and space?

My cousin and I have conversations of the utmost importance. More often than not, these conversations revolve around books, movies, and TV shows. One particular discussion of ours was centered on Doctor Who. Working under the assumption that you, dear reader, are aware of the show given you clicked on this article, it should suffice to say that you understand the subject of regeneration in the context of Doctor Who. My cousin sent me a text one day saying that the Eighth reincarnation (or regeneration) of the Doctor would not be compatible with meeting another character, Danny Pink.
Jocelynn L. TaylorPublished 3 years ago in GeeksMy Review of "Loki: Season One"
Loki: Season One was probably one of the last character who I thought would get a TV series on Disney plus. Mainly because he's been a villain throughout the Marvel universe. Although his last few appearances in the Marvel movies he was starting to warm up to Thor and seemed like he had a good side.

The third book of the Ghost Roads series returns to the highways of America, where hitchhiking ghost Rose Marshall continues her battle with her killer--the immortal Bobby Cross. Lady of shadows, keeper of changes, plant the seeds of faith within me, that I might grow and flourish, that I might find my way through danger and uncertainty to the safety of your garden. Let my roots grow strong and my skin grow thick, that I might stand fast against all who would destroy me. Grant to me your favor, grant to me your grace, and when my time is done, grant to me the wisdom to lay my burdens down and rest beside you, one more flower in a sea of blooms, where nothing shall ever trouble me again. Rose Marshall died when she was sixteen years old and on her way to her high school prom. She hasn't been resting easy since then--Bobby Cross, the man who killed her, got away clean after running her off the road, and she's not the kind of girl who can let something like that slide. She's been looking for a way to stop him since before they put her body in the ground. But things have changed in the twilight world where the spirits of the restless dead continue their "lives." The crossroads have been destroyed, and Bobby's protections are gone. For the first time, it might be possible for Rose to defeat him. Not alone, though. She'll need every friend she's managed to make and every favor she's managed to add to her account if she wants to stand a chance...and this may be her last chance to be avenged, since what is Bobby Cross without the crossroads? Everything Rose knows is about to change.
