The Autumn Equinox was a few days ago, even though Autumn usually starts at the end of August up here in Oregon. And by that, I mean the weather dropped early and leaves changed color all too quickly. That's what usually happens up here in Oregon — don't ask me why, because I really don't know.
Shyra RodgersPublished 6 years ago in FuturismReview of 'Salvation'
Salvation was shown on CBS this summer — finale just this past week — but binge-junkie that I am, I binge-watched the whole 13-episode run over the past few days on Amazon Prime. And this series is binge-watchable and excellent indeed.

"...the power of the Cybermen." Saturday 23 September 1967 Let's just talk about Victoria for a moment. Now those of you who've followed my ramblings may be aware I had a bit of a crush on Polly, so I suppose I might have been a bit grumpy about her being dumped at Gatwick to make way for this new girl.

As a matter of fact, this theory is becoming somewhat of a fan favorite and the universe, quite obviously, has an unlimited number of fans. Yes, you already read it before and you stumbled over the occasional ‘are we living in a simulation’ videos on YouTube or Vimeo. However, do you believe it and what’s the purpose of all of that?
Warning Shot Part 1
“Kyle, Kyle c’mon you got to wake up.” I slowly opened my eyes as the light pierced in stopping me from opening them fully. It was Tasia; even when she looked terrified she was still beautiful: her brown hair fallen perfectly across her shoulders and the scar on her forehead that I secretly thought was adorable. Her green eyes stared straight into mine. I propped myself up on the bed and groaned; it was still dark outside. “Tasia what’s wrong?” I was trying to be concerned but the truth of the matter was I was exhausted from last night. “Kyle they’re coming for us now, we have to leave right now.” I paused and looked at her harder this time and a lot more concerned. “Okay, get your stuff together and let’s go.”

I happen to be one of those people who thinks that there’s a Jorge Luis Borges story for everyone. I don’t believe in soulmates, or fate, or some mysterious ethereal force that wants you to find The One. But I do believe everyone can find something to like in the works of the great Argentinian writer.
