Dear Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita,

Happy Pride Month! I hope this letter finds you well and that you had a lovely Father's Day. My name is Denelsia Walker, and I am a concerned citizen writing to you to address several pressing issues that affect the foundational principles of our nation.

Our National Anthem, "The Star-Spangled Banner," written by Francis Scott Key, on Sept. 14, 1814, during the War of 1812 with Great Britain, was adopted by Congress as the U.S. national anthem in 1931, it celebrates the resilience and freedom that define America. It reminds us of the promises enshrined in the Constitution and the Amendments that followed, ensuring the protection of our liberties and rights as citizens.

The Constitution and its Amendments are the bedrock of our democracy, guaranteeing freedoms that include speech, privacy, and security. These are not mere words but solemn commitments made to the people, affirming that our government exists to serve and protect its citizens.

However, recent legislative actions, such as the age verification requirements for accessing online content in Indiana, raise serious concerns about privacy and freedom of speech. The requirement to upload personal identification documents to access adult content sites like Pornhub infringes on our right to privacy and sets a dangerous precedent for governmental overreach.

Moreover, the proposed measures in Project 2025, which seek to expand presidential powers and diminish civil service protections, threaten the checks and balances that are fundamental to our democracy. Such actions could undermine public trust and erode the freedoms that our forefathers fought so hard to secure.

I believe it is crucial to address these issues to ensure that our nation remains true to the principles of liberty and justice for all. I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss these matters with you further and explore solutions that uphold our shared values.

In the spirit of fostering a brighter future for our children, I have composed several songs that celebrate liberty and justice, which I would like to share with you. These songs can be taught to the younger generation to instill a sense of pride and understanding of their rights and responsibilities as American citizens. Please find these songs attached for your review.

Please let me know a convenient time for us to meet in person. I am available anytime your schedule permits with a 24-48 hour invitation. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to the possibility of working together towards positive change.

Sincerely,

Denelsia Walker
