What is healthy nutrition?

Is there healthy nutrition for everyone, and harmful nutrition for everyone? Or are things relative, personal, and related to each of us separately?!

In recent years, it has turned into a real epidemic. Every day research appears, and specialists warn us against eating this or that type of food.

But how do they do it? The subject is very easy, they check the amount of calories, fats, proteins, glycemic index, antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, gluten, vitamins, minerals and other data that they enter into a complex equation, and a judgment is issued in The End On Food: Is It Healthy Or Unhealthy Food!

This way we know that sweet potatoes are healthy, cabbage is very healthy, peppers are good, white bread is not very healthy, and vegetable fat is very dangerous. Sometimes, we tend to think that the more exotic a food (goat's milk, wholegrain oatmeal bread, Brazil nuts, wheatgrass, flaxseed) is healthier, when the foods we've had in abundance for a long time (bread, white rice) , meat, poultry, sugar and salt) are harmful to our health.

In this article, we will try to answer some disturbing questions: Are there foods that we should avoid consuming? Are there foods that we prefer to consume? In short, which diet should we choose?

First of all, we must understand that people are different from each other. While some of us consider that eating a spoonful of hot pepper in the morning is a kind of pleasure, others consider it unbearable pain, and a sufficient reason for developing gastric ulcers. Some of us are used to dairy products and enjoy eating them, while some of us get diarrhea and abdominal pain. Therefore, all the statements that reach us in the form: “Research has shown that sweet potatoes are healthy” or “Soy is unhealthy”, are considered superficial, and this is their great defect.

Also, when going to the specialists, we often get a little frustrated. In the event that you decide to consult a health nutritionist, and before he even knows what the problem you are suffering from, he will most likely advise you on the following: "Reduce consumption of white flour, sugar, salt and beef. Increase fruits, vegetables and whole rice." It seems that this diet was beneficial to one or two people in the distant past, so nutritionists decided, from that day on, that it might be suitable for everyone!!!

Some of the recommendations are supported by research results, but most of these researches are “retrospective” research (analyzing information after the fact), because any of us would not have accepted and adopted a different diet, over many years to come, just in order to know After all these years, whether this system is beneficial or harmful. In addition, while research succeeds in proving that a certain food raises blood pressure in 70% of the population (a random and questionable factor, since the research did not take into account all the symptoms in individuals, but rather examined the presence of one factor), there is nothing that can confirm that this Food will also harm the remaining 30%. It is possible that this food does not cause any harm to these 30%, but it can be very beneficial for them, and if they stop consuming it, their condition may worsen.

If we give a group of people of western origin eating spicy food, they will suffer from digestion problems. Is it correct, in this case, to conclude that everyone who is accustomed to eating spicy food should stop doing so? Even if that food didn't cause them any problems?

Additional question: Where should such an experiment be conducted? As its results will be different if we conducted it in one of the Scandinavian countries, than it would be if we conducted it in India.

In light of all that has been said, it is not surprising that the results of research change all the time, one research that contradicts the other, as these piles of information are not characterized by any methodology, nor do they contain any comprehensive understanding of the human body, its needs and health.

In addition, "healthy" nutrition not only makes us healthier, it can also do us harm. how? First, because it restricts a person to a limited number of healthy foods that he can eat. While healthy people, in general, are not bound by the specific types of food they eat. Is there bread? eat bread Is there chicken? He eats chicken. Are there fish? He eats fish. A person's good health allows him to eat a wide variety of foods, he is able to quickly get used to any type of food, and he can determine the foods he needs. The person who is nutritionally restricted is the patient.

So, what do we have to do in order to get healthy nutrition?

A person concerned with being healthy does not have to impose a specific diet on himself. But he should eat what he wants. Which is what our body needs in most cases. When the body sends hunger signals, it feels the need for food, and sends us signals about the type of food it needs.

Of course, it is important that the food be clean, washed, with the least possible amount of different toxins and dyes, and if the food can be organic, it will be even better. When food is nutritious and clean, there is no preference for consuming one type over another.

What if the body sends us signals that food may harm us? Like the strong desire for sweets that we know is unsatisfied? Do we have to submit to that desire and gain weight? In this case, we have to understand that our strong desire to eat something sweet is only a symptom of the disease. Most of us love sweets, but after a small amount of sweets, we feel full and don't feel the need to consume it yet. A person who feels the desire to eat sweets all the time suffers from a certain disease, and one of the symptoms of this disease is the craving for sweets. Preventing this person from eating sweets will not solve the problem, as the feeling of discomfort will continue to control him, but the problem may sometimes worsen and appear in the form of other physical and psychological disorders.

In the event that the problem is worrisome, it is recommended to go to homeopathy, where in this type of treatment, the root of the problem is searched for, clarification of when it started, what are its characteristics and whether there are other symptoms (physical or psychological), what is the therapist’s character and style his life, and according to all these data the treatment is appropriate.
