5 Painless Ways to Get Your Greens

If you're someone who usually forgoes a side salad for fries at a restaurant or prefers potato chips over kale chips, getting enough greens to fuel your body can be difficult. As much as you wish you probably could, you can't count ketchup or the marinara sauce on your pasta as one of your two-and-a-half serving of vegetables that you're supposed to eat per day.

    My all-time favorite Kuppa Meals

    My all-time favorite Kuppa Meals

I first realized my starvation for the tasty food when I was in school. My friends created a food sharing tradition so we can enjoy each other's meals. However, I never liked it because my lunch box used to carry the perfect combination of ingredients like moderately spicy and tasty at the same time. Whereas, other meals used to lack one or other things like spices, salt, no gravy, too much gravy, not fully cooked bread, or an overcooked till burned bread.

The Bone Broth Trend, Explained: Why I’ve Made Bone Broth a Pantry Staple

Broths and soups have been part of almost every culture’s culinary tradition throughout the ages; from Vietnamese Pho to Italian Brodo to American chicken noodle soup, a flavorful, meaty broth is at the base of many of the worlds’ most comforting dishes. But in the last few years, there’s one type of broth in particular that has hit the food scene (and the fitness scene!) with a vengeance: Bone broth! Vibrational Cooking

A wise man once said that it is not what goes into the mouth of the man that defiles him, but what comes out. While this is true, what we eat certainly can have an effect on our vibrations and physical wellbeing. We are still currently in the third density, after all.

    Healthy Eating and Enjoyment

    Healthy Eating and Enjoyment

Hello my Vocal friends! I hope you are having a good day so far. Since my transition to independent living in the summer of 2018, I started learning about nutrition and exploring unique and wholesome junk food replacements. I made a promise to myself that I was going to start looking after my health and wellbeing, but it was not going to be something I would fix overnight or in two weeks. As I have explained in one of my previous recipe blogs, I will relapse after trying to deprive myself of sugar for a day of two. In order for me to be consistent with my diet, I can’t have the "it's bad or it's good" mindset, but rather eat things in moderation and allowing myself to have the odd binge. The SlimFast diet is the most effective diet for me compared to the Ketogenic, Paleo, Vegan or Atkins diets. I want to enjoy all of my favourites while managing my sugar and carbohydrate intake.

Healthy Recipes For Two: On The Road Again

Healthy Recipes For Two: On The Road Again

A couple of years ago my wife and I decided that we had had enough of the suburban life. I was ready to retire early and so was she, our kids were long since gone and having kids of their own who we didn’t see enough, and I was sick of mowing the lawn, washing windows and cleaning out gutters.
