The miraculous healing of Emmalynn Upchurch
I had my first born in 2012, I wanted to give her a sibling but as you all know we don't always get what we want. So in May I started to feel off, I remember walking into work (wallyworld) and getting really dizzy but thought nothing of it so went about my business. A couple weeks later I decided to buy a first response and nearly shit myself when I saw that plus sign, I was finally pregnant, I couldn't believe it so went to the doctor and they told me I was almost 4 weeks. (yes I know very early but I found out around then with all 3 ) Well if you know me then you know I can't keep anything a secret so I told everyone we were having a baby. At 6 weeks I started bleeding and thought I had a miscarriage so I went to the doctor and they told me the baby is fine and has a heartbeat and sometimes these things happen. They called it a hemorrhage on the placenta but said that it will most likely heal and I'll have a healthy pregnancy. I bled for a couple more weeks and decided to leave my job and take it easy.

Noah's Family
Noah was large for a nine-year old, and that was not always an advantage, he thought. Last year, when he had his tonsils taken out, the boy in the bed next to his weighed 48 pounds; Noah weighed 84. Since then, without his tonsils, he had grown at a terrific pace. The doctor had warned his parents that if he didn't slim down, he would soon have to be put on a diet, but not at age 9. He'd face that when he came to it, he reflected. He was tall, and his mother said maybe it would all even out in a year.

Special Moments Between me and the kids
I have known "children" having been blessed with the opportunity to be a mother, a step-mother, and a nanny. Each "role" taught me a different perspective and a different feeling of responsibility and caring. I am a very critical person of myself and of my loved ones. I want us to be the best we can be at all times and always strive for perfection, whatever that means. This trait was genetically passed on to my son, but the other "children" that I had the pleasure to be acquainted with, did not seem to share this passionate trait as much. They had other gifts and personality stamps that were memorable and treasurable. I feel the time has come to praise those I've had the honor of knowing in my mind or heart as "children".

ZERO DARK 540
Last night, at approximately 0540 hours, I was summoned by Kate (4 months old) into her room. After addressing her needs, I intended to use the bathroom before returning to bed. I made it as far as grabbing the toilet seat with my left hand before being summoned into battle by Luke (2.5 years old). His summon was so loud, that I was fearful if I didn't tend to his needs immediately, he would awaken the rest of the house. Therefore, the following events occur with the use of only one hand.

My Reason
Why do I promise things I can't control? It makes me a habitual liar. I should be home by now, but the traffic is insane. I listen to the bellowing politician on my car radio dressing down the Governor for not keeping her pledge to fix 'the damn roads.' What the hell! Every route I travel across town is jacked up by road construction!

Endless Treasures
I was only eight when. my Uncle Glen was called off to fight in the war, Uncle Glen was so close to my mom. He was her little brother, fifteen years apart in age. I think my mom always thought of him more like a son than a brother. The news that he had to go was heartbreaking, the war across the ocean was getting out of hand and they needed him badly.
