As a mom to a beautiful 10-month-old boy, there are products I wish I knew about beforehand to make life easier with a new baby. From formula mixers to diaper rash cream, these are the products I recommend to anyone who has a new baby or is expecting a new baby in the house.

The Baby Breeza Formula Mixer

This might sound insane to some. Why use a mixer to fully mix your formula when you can just shake the bottle? Well, if you have ever used formula before, then you know that it clumps and doesn’t always properly mix. With the baby Breeza formula mixer, you can mix you baby’s formula with a simple push of a button. This way your baby is getting the full nutritional support they need as a young child, to help them grow. This formula mixer is not inexpensive and can mix up to 28 oz of formula. So, you can place the mixed formula in the fridge and once you pour it into a bottle, simply place the bottle in warm water to warm that formula up.

Baby Bum Brush, Original Diaper Rash Cream Applicator

When I first received this as a baby gift when we found out about our son, I honestly thought it was the stupidest thing I had ever seen. However, I quickly fell in love with this applicator. It allows you to put the diaper rash cream on your little one, in a much more sanitary manner. If you have ever put diaper rash cream on a baby, you know how hard that stuff is to get off of your fingers. This simple little tool will prevent messy fingers and gives a smooth application, helping prevent your child's bottom from becoming much more irritated. You can purchase this product in a travel size as well.

PINXAV Healing Cream

This diaper rash cream is a life saver. When my little boy was about a month old, he developed a nasty rash that the more well-known brand names couldn’t help. A friend suggested this to me and I immediately went out and bought some. After using the cream, his rash went away almost overnight. In fact, his pediatrician had never heard of the cream and looked it up. He was impressed by the ingredients and told me that it looked like it might be the best option out there. The cream is sticky, so the baby bum rash cream applicator will be something you will want to use as well.

Also, for any parent (or anyone for that matter) who is prone to heat rashes (especially the under the boob ones) this cream can be applied to that nasty rash as well and it does provide the much need relief. Believe me, I HAVE tried it and it soothes and heals at the same time.

Baby Einstein Sea Dreams Soother

Babies are naturally curious as well as easily entertained. This crib toy gives the option for music to play or can play soothing ocean sounds. The lights on the aquarium also give off a calming blue glow that babies will love. Once your little one is a few months old, they will learn to press the star-shaped button on the aquarium to get the sounds and lights to start up once it turns off. It’s pretty easy for them to figure out, as my son kept pressing that button over and over again each and every time the machine stopped working, until he finally fell calmly asleep.

While these products may not be for everyone, they may be worth a try for you and your little one. All of these products helped my husband and myself out quite a bit. Making sure our children have everything they need, along with making things a bit easier for the parents is something more companies need to think about. Having a new baby in the house can be a joyous time, but also can cause some stress. These products might help you out in some way or another. What are your favorite baby products that have made life easier for you and your family?
