Molding the Future
Sometimes it takes looking deep within yourself to realize what your worth truly is. Although it might also be hard for others to see at times, being a stay-at-home mom is a very important and major commitment that not everyone can do. As a SAHM there are various tasks I must perform in order to make sure my impact on the world is a good one.
The First Foods I Introduced My Baby To
When I had my second baby last year, I knew I wanted to start baby food as soon as possible. What I didn’t realize was that babies don’t have to start on baby food. Especially now that Baby Led Weaning is becoming more popular, there are several options when it comes to making sure your baby is getting the appropriate nutrients they need. These are the most common foods I have used as soon as my son was able to start eating baby food. Please keep in mind that all babies are different and I did talk to his pediatrician before starting him on any type of food. Another thing to remember is there is a safe way to do baby led weaning. Please never leave your child unattended while giving them these foods.
4 Must-Have Products For Parents and Their Newborn
As a mom to a beautiful 10-month-old boy, there are products I wish I knew about beforehand to make life easier with a new baby. From formula mixers to diaper rash cream, these are the products I recommend to anyone who has a new baby or is expecting a new baby in the house.
The Green Light at The End of The Storm
The sound of rain pattered against the hood of Claire's beat up old Honda. She sat listening to the sound as she wondered how her husband Mark would react to the news. 120 seconds is a long time to sit and ponder when your dreams are coming true. She imagined what would happen once that red light turned green.
Small Steps, Small Goals, My Future
Every year I make the same resolutions to be healthier and finally get myself into shape, but this year must be different. I have a new baby I need to worry about, and this might be the final chance I have to finally get healthy, before I’ve gone so far that there is no way to come back from it. On top of that, there are other goals I must focus on as well.
My Rainbow Baby, My Son
I never thought I would be saying the words “my son”. I had finally gotten used to the idea that my daughter would be the only child I would ever have biologically. We were surprised when we found out that almost two years after an ectopic pregnancy, my fiancé and I were expecting. We were overcome with joy, when we found out we would be having a boy. I had always wanted a son, although any gender would have been okay with me. All I wanted was the baby!
It's a Boy
When you’re initially told you wont be able to have anymore children, the feelings can be confusing. You might not trust what they are saying at first. Then as each year passes, your hope diminishes and you get used to the idea of your child being your only biological child. I am sure the feelings are extremely upsetting for women who can’t have any children at all.
Pregnancy In The Time Of Corona
Pregnancy is supposed to be a time of joy and excitement. This is something you normally would like to share with your whole family. With the recent events in the world, pregnancy is now scarier and much more challenging than before. Several things about the way a pregnancy is handled have changed and the stress can become overbearing. How will these changes effect you and how can you do your best to make this experience as normal and family oriented as possible.
My Experience With Going Back To A Game I Haven't Played In Years
Recently I decided to pick up where I left off on a Multi Player Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG) that allows the player to complete quests, not only alone but also with the help of other players. Last time I played this game was in 2017. Starting back up with an old favorite can be hard. There are so many aspects you need to relearn and get used to again.
My Love For Gaming
Ever since I was in sixth grade, I have loved gaming. It all started when my grandparents bought my grandpa a PlayStation to entertain him after retirement. That gaming system became something my sister and I played almost religiously every weekend that we would go over there. Which was actually EVERY weekend. Grandpa didn’t play it, but Grandma would love it when we would come over and she could watch us. I remember her sitting behind us while we played games like 2-Xtreme, Tomba and Crash Bandicoot.
