My Top 10 Favourite Lip Products (2018)
To me, lipsticks/lip products are one of the few makeup items that can complete an outfit, transform your look from a 0 to a 100, or can help bring out a side of you you never even knew you had.
Glitter Eyeshadows That Actually Stay Put
With the holiday season now here, adding extra glam to your closet and makeup collection makes complete sense. In fact, one of the things this season calls for is glitter eyeshadows to help bring out your inner holiday joy.

Heeta JoshiPublished 6 years ago in BlushThe Best Face Masks
I can be so lazy when it comes to taking care of my skin, as I'm sure a lot of you can be too. But when we do take care of it, it's almost worth it, am I right? The reason I say almost is because the face masks we tend to use just don't make that much of a difference to us. We spend so much money on these different masks, that tell you it 'rejuvenates the skin' or 'brightens up your face.' Most of that is just BS. But I'm here to tell you how you can make face masks that can actually make a difference, and how you can save that money.
Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie
If you have curly hair, you know the struggle to find products for your hair type. No one ever told me what to look for in hair products so I neglected to wear my hair out curly for most of my middle and high school career. Instead I burned it with a flat iron. It wasn't until the end of my sophomore year in high school I decided to stop flat ironing my hair and finally learn how to take care of my hair. I watched endless YouTube videos to learn every little detail about curly hair. Now I know the type of products to look for when shopping in the store.
Katie RicePublished 6 years ago in BlushHair Color Services Decoded
As a hair stylist, I KNOW it can be super confusing about all the types of coloring services that are offered. There is a lot of lingo that us stylists use that seem confusing, when simplified can be SUPER easy to understand.
My Favorite Hair Hacks and Products
I don't know about you, but I love my hair. But it took me awhile to get to loving it! My hair is curly, but not like those beautiful natural curls you can tame and work with, no. My curls are random waves and random straight strands of hair and so on. It's a mess if I don't take care of it. My hair comes down to my waist, and it's thick, and frizzy! Everyone's hair is different, but I hope now knowing what my hair is like, it will help you in deciding what works best for you!
Valentina SophiaPublished 6 years ago in BlushExciting Brands at the Makeup Show LA 2018
The Makeup Show LA 2018 once again brought its epic beauty trade show to the California Mart, November 10-11, 2018. What I always enjoy about this particular trade show is its ability to have intimate class instructions from the Pro Artists leading the various breakout training sessions. No show is complete without a list of James Vincent’s favorite beauty products for Fall/Winter 2018 and Spring 2019. On the list is Ardell Beauty, an LA-based company widely known for their affordable and great quality lashes and eyelash adhesive, DUO. Did you know that Ardell employs over 1,000 people locally and they have a conglomerate of businesses under the Ardell brand? Ardell recently launched their own brand—Ardell Cosmetics.
Reese AlexanderPublished 6 years ago in BlushPlease, Make Your Own Soap
My first batch of soap, ever, was a total disaster. I didn't measure anything correctly, mixed it in a five gallon Home Depot bucket, and didn't put any fragrance in because I thought I was still going to be able to smell the cocoa butter after it cured. I poured the thick, over-traced mess into PVC pipe with aluminum foil rubber banded to the bottom (big no no!) and thought it would be fine. The end was a hard as rock swiss cheese looking puck! Now, three years later, I have honed the skill. The picture in this article is of bars I made earlier this year, having learned how to properly use fragrance oils, micas, and piping tools.
Best Special Effects Lip Toppers for Photo Shoots
Let's talk about modeling, shall we? For a while, I was a professional model. These days, I still occasionally model for fun—and maybe a little bit of extra cash. However, I am not nearly as serious as I once was about it.
Sasha KonikovoPublished 6 years ago in Blush12 Duochrome Eyeshadows You're Going to Love
I gave up on matte eyeshadows. It wasn't because the colors were boring, or because I really wasn't feeling the many different looks you can do with matte. It's just that I kind of realized that matte eyeshadows just weren't me.
Mackenzie Z. KennedyPublished 6 years ago in BlushGlamGlow Holiday Gift Sets
GlamGlow was originally founded in 2010, and was intended for professionals and backstage use in Hollywood's entertainment industries. In 2011, their products were made available to the rest of us civilians. Since then, they've released tons of products that have helped so many people with skin care issues. Personally, I was skeptical about these products at first. I used to work as a skin care product specialist and didn't think that effective skin care products could be sold in such cute packaging. However, I finally caved last year and started using these products and have to say they are AMAZING; however, they are pretty pricey. (Especially when you know the MSRP for skin care products.)
