The song that I chose for the beat challenge is loving caliber - Not Us. I chose the instrumental of the song because I love the passion of the song, it has so much depth and drama. I chose this song because it is a memorial of my childhood depth and heres the story of my childhood and growing up. As a child the world felt like a wonder to me, I was shy but filled with wonder , at school I was so quiet but inside of me everything in my heart had a color like a rainbow telling me who I was, every color said something bright in my soul, I felt the excitement inside that I was an actor, and that is what I was going to do when I got older, I knew the passion was clear. everything inside of me said you love film, your a writer you write scripts, your a singer, you compose songs, play the piano, love to dance, be love, make people feel better, tell them they're amazing ,you are an encourager. Encourage their dream's and tell them that they have purpose and that they are important. I've always had a passion to love people and build them up. So when I listen to the song it just reminds me of the ways life progresses, first its just beginning and a child is born and barely knows who he or she is and starts to grow, then special moments start to happen that you start to see the talents, gifts, and purposes of the child, like a mother who was feeling down and a child came to kiss his mothers cheek, simply because the child loved her and inside of himself he hated seeing his mother cry and all of a sudden she remembered when he kissed her cheek that she was special and that every thing she did was not for no reason, But the child made her feel like she was someone and like she could keep going, that's a purpose many people never knew, that a child could make a parent feel like somebody, that a child could tell you who you are, that you weren't just a nobody, you are my somebody and we all think the mother is there for the child but then suddenly, its the child is there to love the mother and the mother needed him to move forward. Those are moments of depth, I hear those moments in the song. Then you start to become and realize who you are as a young adult growing into a teen and the world is fun and exciting, your talents are growing and advancing. In loving caliber- not us there are sounds of uprising, steady thoughts, and drama that climaxes the song reminds me of someones life that has been moved by something special, something you did to love another person, or to help them or to build them up inside. It reminds me of my very own self a girl who has a passion to love and make others feel loved inside. My dream is to love people who don't feel loved , to be a builder other people's dreams and encourage their progress and faith in succeeding, I created the video to show the awesomeness of the song and the way it tells a story like mine. My thoughts are to show passion to those who feel weak, and I truly want to see them be greater. and everyday I will challenge that meaning because I am a builder, and this is my life and what I love, and thats why loving caliber is one of my favorite songs, because it reminds me of who I am . Music is the conductor of life that transmute the passages of time and space. It can act as a comforter, cheerleader, lover, best friend, mother/father, reminder. It plays many roles in the trajectories of life. It can be the soft shoulder to cry on and the pep talk calling you out of a slump. Whatever situation presents itself in life, music is there to provide the soundtrack of the time.

The Song That Revealed a Hidden World of Magic
The first time I heard "Ship of Fools," I went into my bedroom and drew a map. It was a map of the world the song created in my mind. It had a massive forest with towering trees that waned in size and number as the land spread into gold-tinged rolling hills. Those hills were precursors to a low and rocky mountain range whose ridges ended abruptly in a vast desert. On the other side of that were slowly rising forested cliffs, at the bottom of which was a forceful sea crashing against them.

Her Space Holiday
The song I am presenting today is “Something to Do with My Hands” – Her Space Holiday, this poetic piece has transported a significant amount of energy upon my life. I identified with the artist Her Space Holiday while attending high school in 2006, this song was released in 2003 on “The Young Machines” album. As we all know high school can be quite prolonged and falling in “love” can be inevitable especially when your young. I fell in love with the harmonic composition and the opening quote “You know it kills me to see such a pretty girl so tired” right at the introduction. I feel that everyone can relate to this quote and at the time I was in a dark place, especially when it came to my significant other. This is also the chorus, which this composition ends with the same chorus but with a little off twist. He sings about his relationship with an unknown woman and how much they want to be together but can’t by the virtue of reality. Neither are happy and can relate to being drained from their current relationship status but somehow make a way to find happiness within each other. Now that I’m older I know that in order to build a relationship you must face certain obstructions, this song surpassingly guided me on how to achieve obstacles assertively in everyday life circumstances. Whenever I felt down or out of place, I would play and sing this song repetitively all day and at first, I felt sadness but as I learned to understand the song better, I discovered the definition of new beginnings. I wouldn’t say everything happens for a reason, but it is quite alarming how some things tend to align into place without any recognition. The harmonic melody presented throughout this song is incredibly addicting, it is also repetitive and very constant until the ending. I was always attracted to this harmony and it really opened my eyes up to classical and indie music at a young age. Iv’e been extremely interested in music since I could remember and certain compositions like this one has inspired me to become a creative myself. I picked this song for a recent project in school, I am currently attending Full Sail University for my bachelors in Audio Production and Engineering. I love creativity, in my eye’s diversity is key and this song will always have that feeling of uniqueness every time it is played. I know for a fact without diversity and being open minded to new things I would not be where I am today. I would say iv’e made a decent name for myself over the years in the music scene but as for now I am currently at another new beginning and I will always feel blessed for a change. I have also always been a writer and this song greatly influenced my writing and to notice what good lyrics are, I feel that a lot of people surpass lyrics and only listen to the production. Lyrics have a great influence in music and noticing that I began to write more often and more passively. I also began journaling and tried to cast out my emotions through paper rather than act them out physically, this helped me out tremendously while attending high school. If I was to say one thing this song taught me, it was to always live life blissfully and to show gratitude even when things aren’t as great. Sometimes just seeing one person for a spilt second can make your day turn around and that’s where I show gratitude the most, for the people around me. I recently started analyzing numerology and while attending school I discovered this song ends in 3:33, 333 is one of my most cherished numbers. If you look up 333 angel number it refers to positive energies, associates with vibrations of growth, represents the absence of conflict and can be the number of freedom. I find this very kooky and somewhat refreshing that I recognized this a significant amount of years after I discovered this song, it relates to me then and now one hundred percent. Seeing this really confirmed numerology for me, everything that 333 represents is what I wanted to overcome while listening to this song. I love how much music can influence your life and thought process without you even realizing it at first, hopefully it’s more positive than negative spirit but this statement goes for both. Music is energy and energy is eternal.

Tears in Heaven
This has been one of the most difficult writings that I’ve felt compelled to do. A song that resonates with me as a source of healing and a source of pain is, Tears in Heaven, by Eric Clapton. The song was written for his young son that he lost in a terrible accident. I had heard the song before many times, but the lyrics didn’t really have true meaning for me until I suddenly lost my mother in October of 2016. Like myself, Eric Clapton had experienced great loss and that was the dark, yet light space that these lyrics are pulled from.
