My Review of "Doja Cat: Hot Pink"
Doja Cat: Hot Pink is an album that I never thought I would catch myself reviewing. I have been listening to different music lately and this one really caught my ear because of its addicting tunes and familiarity. I'm not too familiar with who Doja Cat is. That's with a lot of new artists, they just come out of nowhere and catch your attention.
Brian AnonymousPublished 4 years ago in BeatWelcome to the world of Mordechai
A little over six weeks ago the official release for Mordechai was announced with the relaunch of the official playlist generator from Khurangbin which was found on the website AirKhurang. Fast forwarding another four weeks, just over two weeks ago from where we are at now we were hit with the newest release, the latest record and I do not think anyone was ready for this, not just melodic tunes to sway too, but surprisingly damn right good music. Welcome to the latest record from Khurangbin; a lost psych-funk classic from a far off land.
Hannah FirthPublished 4 years ago in BeatFlesh N Bone Do You EP Review Best albums of 2020
Flesh N Bone Do You EP is one of the best albums of 2020. He brings hard beats with lots of bass. But he also brings a ton of energy with great lyrics and flows. I was blown away as soon as I started to play the album.
The Sinister PenPublished 4 years ago in BeatLayzie Bone Dead of Alive Album Review best rap albums of 2020
Layzie Bone Dead of Alive Shows the world that real rap is not yet dead. In rap game where mostly only the same nonsense lyrics are mumbled by talent less rappers. It is so good to see Layzie Bone of Bone Thugs N Harmony bring a real album that has touched thee people.
The Sinister PenPublished 4 years ago in BeatLate Review: "Violet Street"
In the ever growing music industry, it is often hard to find a specific genre or "sound" that you can really attach yourself to. Record labels, management agencies, and even artists themselves are often doing all they can to stand out from the crowd. Whether it is rappers trying to gain "clout" or lo-fi indie acts trying to make it big, some artists can seem to be attention seeking fiends. With things like antics to political stances bogging down musical artists, a listener can feel overwhelmed.
George GomezPublished 4 years ago in BeatZico - ‘RANDOM BOX’ EP Review
Last year saw Zico go introspective. His genre-bending Thinking LP, an amalgamation of two stellar extended plays which showed the artist at his most vulnerable, was firmly rooted in both obvious, and subtle, self-reflection. Shifting from mid-tempo acoustics (“Balloon”), to striking piano melodies (“The language of flowers”), all the way to abrasive, cocky trap-infused hip-hop (“another level”), the 27-year-old offered a masterclass in musicality throughout the album’s 36-minute runtime, triumphing in his attempts to show a fresher, more self-effacing side to himself. Despite its minimal mainstream popularity, Thinking undoubtedly cemented Zico’s long-term sustainability as part of Korea’s musical backbone, and further proved that he was more than just a surface-level hit-maker.

I honestly have no idea how Danish folk group, Valravn got into my music library, but I'm glad they did. Valravn's name is taken from Danish Folklore. The band themselves started off as an ensemble who specialised in medieval music but have since then expanded their audience and becoming a nice little folk band that makes some grand music. I enjoyed their album, Koder på snor and one of the highlights of that album for me is Kroppar.

In 2005, Elton John celebrated the 30th anniversary of 1975's excellent autobiographical album Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy with a concert performing (almost) the entire album in sequence at Madison Square Garden. (Elton opted to exclude "Tower of Babel" and "Writing" from the concert.) It accompanied the release of a Deluxe Edition double-CD set that featured a 1975 performance of the entire album given with a brand-new band before a Wembley Stadium crowd. Now to say that playing an album to an audience unfamiliar with the songs nor the band was a challenge would be an understatement, especially as the bill was filled with hitmakers like the Beach Boys, Joe Walsh and the Eagles.
Sean CallaghanPublished 4 years ago in BeatMy Opinion On Chromatica
Lady Gaga’s newest album Chromatica just released yesterday! I could not wait and played it instantly. As soon as the first song played I knew I was in for a treat. I am a long term fan of Gaga and was ecstatic to hear she was bringing out a pop album. I do love Joanne, do not get me wrong but a pop album is what I really needed right now.
Ciara With a CPublished 4 years ago in BeatMy Review of "Harry Styles: Fine Line"
Harry Styles: Fine Line is an album that I didn't think I'd expect to like as much as I did. I haven't heard his previous album but this album makes me want to go back to check it out. I only know that he's a member of one direction but I never really listened to their music either. I think I might be becoming a fan.

Phill RossPublished 4 years ago in BeatTaylor Swift Lover Album Review: Can getting it so right be getting it so wrong?
Taylor Swift’s much anticipated seventh studio album Lover, in three weeks became the best-selling album of the year in the U.S. Can you say this is much of a surprise considering the last record holder was Swift herself with the album Reputation? Lover has been breaking records in China and the UK and too many other places to list, but will it stand the test of time and outshine her previous works?
