25 Greatest Songs of Lene Lovich
Lene Lovich says that much of the inspiration of her original songs came from her dreams. One area that remains consistent about Lovich's work is her lyrical fascination with romance, communication and the breakdown of both. Although she's reluctant to explain her prose - "I'd rather leave them open so the audience can participate in the music" - she confesses that they're "very personal."

Giovanni ProfetaPublished 2 years ago in BeatHow Music Changed The World
‘Music can change the world because it can change people’ - Bono In an era where public demand is increasingly driven by consumerism and materialist values, and people are kept apart, it can be easy to forget that music has not just been a form of entertainment, but an agent of social change across history.

I remember 10 years ago when people were commermorating what would’ve been his 70th birthday, complete with a little Google Doodle where the “70” blended into his self-portrait doodle. While it took me a while, I eventually saw what the big fuss was all about. After all, my mother had exposed me to the Beatles’ music as a child, if mainly through “Kids’ Versions” of the Beatles.
Jennifer RosePublished 2 years ago in Beat30 by Adele | Album Review
I want to start off by saying that this album is, without a doubt in my mind, more of an outlet and coping mechanism for Adele than it is music designed to be mass consumed for profit. I think this aspect is where some criticism come from in the review of this album and some overlook just how emotional this album is meant to be. Adele is coming off of a divorce, while caring for a young child, comments on her weight, and suffering from almost debilitating anxiety at times. This album is the culmination of all of these things in the most heart-wrenching way possible. I understand this can take away from the enjoyability, but at the end of the day, Adele is going to sell and I’m going to listen.

ECLECTIC MIX NOVEMBER 21
This month past it seems like winter has finally arrived on our doorstep, and we were battered here in the UK by our 1st storm of the year, Arwen. The storm left many people without power for over a week, and mainland seen wind speeds of 70-80mph, along with heavy snowfall across the north of Scotland. I know what anyone across the pond reading us will think that the storm probably sounds ‘cute’ but for us over here, it was a big deal! So don’t take that energy, or heating for granted over the next few months, especially as we are to hit again with some more severe weather.

My Relationship With Music Needed Me To Become Healthy To Evolve
I love music and for me, it is not about the artist or the genre of music, it is about the lyrics and the emotions they evoke inside of me. — Melanie J.

FIVE AND SO is a Nu-soul group based in Paris, created in 2019 by Solen Shawen and Noé Moureaux. We started with cover at our first concerts and then we decided to make original songs with our friend, musicians that we've met during our musical studies in a French jazz school. Our musical universe goes between soul, jazz and hip hop and the original lyrics are in English and French. Our first EP "Solen et les garçons" was released on September 29, 2021. It contains 4 original compositions. You can hear us on stage in Parisian clubs, on YouTube and on all streaming platforms. After our first TV Show on the French TV (CULTURE BOX, 09/29/21) we are now working on our future release that should be out in October 2022.
