Top Christmas Songs Ever

The season is upon us and no one is more excited than I am (as a Christmas baby and all.) This ol girl will be cuddling up to her fur babies, hot chocolate and the very finest in Christmas tunes. There is nothing better to put you in the mood than the liveliness of the season's music. I normally have music playing 24/7 and starting the first week of December it is mostly all kringle style. I love Christmas and everything about it. From apple cider to baking cookies to Christmas cards and decorating and the music! Here is a list of greats that you can listen to all season and/or watch the videos. Just subscribe and click.

For King and Country. I just discovered their music not long ago and am head over heels, cannot get enough of it. The duo originally from Australia and now residing in Nashville is accompanied by other fantastic musicians. The Transiberian Orchestra, Christmas Eve and Other Stories, if you have not heard of this extravaganza in music you do not know what you are missing. Classical music done rock and roll style, it makes Christmas a momentum in awe. They are the rock opera Christmas style and mainly perform annually at this time of year. They are one of the top ten ticket selling shows by Billboard and each Christmas album contains songs that together tell a story. One of the best live shows ever.

Anne Murray Christmas Songs 2022. Growing up we listened to Anne Murray all year round but more-so during Christmas. Another female Canadian singer to idolise. In her 4o year career has sold over 55 million albums, wow. Pure grace over shine a liquid, smooth voice.

The Kinks, Father Christmas shouldn't be missed in your Christmas playlist if you are in the party mood. Part of the British Invasion which is pretty impressive and Father Christmas song is one of the best.

While daydreaming of England include classic Paul Macartney, Having A Wonderful Christmastime A true favourite across homes and radio stations, nostalgia forever this one. After you're done listening to it I'll bet you can't stop and gravitate to the huge collection of Beatles' songs on Youtube.

The Hillsong Christian Christmas Songs 2021 is a stellar collection and some of the most beautiful music you can listen to all season, reminding us what it is really all about. Hillsong released their first in 1988 and in 2016 reached platinum success and won a Grammy in 2018.

Celine Dion Christmas Album, These Are Special Times features a classic Canadian and classic voice that will mesmerise you in glittery goodness. Sweet and special, top notch all the way all the time. Dion is the best selling Canadian and french artist of all time.

Christmas would not be Christmas without A Charlie Brown Christmas Vince Guarldi Trio album. A whimsical and funky groove guaranteed to make you feel like a child again.

White Christmas Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra is the traditional music that usually kicks off the season and thrives right until the 25th and after. Never goes out of style and truly puts you in the home-style mood. One of the world's best selling songs.

Loreena McKennitt A Winter Garden Perhaps you feel like something a little more Celtic in style. Something to go with your kringle shandy hmm? This will definitely take you there. There is something entirely awesome about Celtic flow. Nothing as fine or as lovely in music. 14 million records strong.

While we are at it Mumford and Sons Winter Winds cannot be missed and Thou Fount of Every Blessing. The first time I heard these guys music I was riveted. They are all time favs and one of the music I will be listening to most. Best British album in 2011 and six Grammy nominations.

The Lumineers Blue Christmas Album also at the top of the list, aren't they all? Has a clear and distinctive sound all their own. Another Indie Folk Rock band that debuted on Billboard 200, Canadian and UK charts.

Elton John and Ed Sheeran Merry Christmas Song's jingly beat has one of the best Christmas videos. Elton John's Step Into Christmas is also now a classic tune every year that is absolutely loved. Have been listening to him since I was a kid, Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy!!

Susan Aglukark Christmas Oh Come All Ye Faithful If you haven't heard this lady sing, hear her now. She is great, great, great. A strong resonating, clear, and beautiful voice that will make the room stand still. Sung in her native tongue it is beautiful.

A Holly Dolly Christmas Dolly Parton is also a classic. Everyone loves Dolly and nothing rings finer than her voice this time of year. 100 million record sales in her career. Enjoy this!! You will love it. Classical Christmas and all time best.

A Set of Christmas Hymns that will bring tears to your eyes is this collection here. Complete with an enactment of the Nativity. Makes your heart grow proud. Really beautiful sound.

Christmas In My Hometown Charlie Pride was a family favourite in our home for years and with many others as it went gold. Listening to this brings me instantly back to the nervous excitement of Christmas Eve. They Stood In Silent Prayer, my favourite.

Relaxing Christmas Jazz by Richard Freeman for all day music if you wish. There is nothing like jazz to put you in peaceful yet productive mood while enjoying the festive to do's like baking or just relaxing.

Alan Jackson Best Christian Country Christmas Album brings many blessings in sound to your household. Strong and heartfelt a voice that stands out in the season's rhythm. Really fantastic.

Best Christmas Songs Elvis Presley who I idolise. Who doesn't? Another favourite that brings back the best memories of childhood and growing up.

The Choir of King's College Cambridge symbolically represents everything I love about this time of year. The beauty and innocence of the true meaning is represented here.

This list would just not be complete without Gene Autry's Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer. And 12 Days of Christmas All time favourites across the world and the most enthusiastic for children ever.

That is it for a list of some of my favorite Christmas songs and albums. The list doesn't stop there though, there are so many I could go on and on. But this selection should be just enough to get you through the season with happiness and cheer. Remember the season is about the gift of love. Remember that.

I like things to complete where they begin so in keeping with the spirit of this list and music just to top it off here is a long cherished old time favourite movie in it's entirety. One that I know I will see more than once.
